- We take a detailed tour of the once-popular Avenues area in Harare...both "east" and "west". Perhaps one of the oldest neighborhoods in Harare, we drive the roads, and visit the shopping centers and the recreational park. What does the Avenues look like in March 2024? We feel the vibe. Come along. #zimbabwe #asmr #lifeasithappens #hararezimbabwe #aroundzimbabwe

thanks for not playing crappy music overtop; amapiano, zim dancehall, afro pop, hip hop....i swear young Zimbos today do not want to be Shona or Ndebele. They forgot about the words of Ambuya Nehanda
I grew up in the avenues back in the day and the roads are now in a terrible state compared to then. Road maintenance should also include small residential roads. I also see that traffic lights that get hit by cars are never repaired. Zimbabwe government/ City Council do better.
Agreed. Traffic lights are lost repeatedly mostly on weekend nights through drunk driving. As one solution, since by law vehicles are to be insured, there could be a way for respective insurance companies to play a role in quick replacement for the safety of all.
The Avenues seriously need a wave of gentrification. Manje kanyika kacho makwikwi
Wow !
Your videos are very clear and natural (no filter and Music in the background)
This is very professional what you're doing!
Keep it that way please, and thanks for sharing these videos with us!
Thank you for this video but the roads hey. The most of the apartments looks good just as if you are in Europe but the roads.
Some of those roads are in a shocking state - get those roads fixed and it’s still a leafy, attractive part of town.
Honestly we have a dead council
Hi, can you also show Avondale in the future?
The whole of Harare needs urban renewal... It is in a dilapidated state.. starting with the roads is not a bad idea
Thanks for the video. Harare roads are in terrible state
We have terrible city council, they can't even cut the grass
It's the city council to do that
Those roads need fixing for sure.
I booked a flat near selou, Herbert chitepo, 3rd street a few times and it’s all run down and very sketchy at night to walk and please don’t walk at night alone. Full of prostitutes everywhere! It’s very dangerous
Opposition politics has got us this far wish we can have common goal
tons of money for a new bank, no money to fix the potholes though?
City of Harare has failed its job dismally. Zero maintenance going on here
Harare city council is just rubbish. Beautiful infrastructure but vanhu vatema kungowondonga chete.
