He was a great man, and a smart man but he did make bad decisions! He really did build an excellent car far better than what it's given credit for and it is too bad that there is so much miss information about it. I'm proud to be an owner of an 1982 DeLorean. Owned it for 17 years now and it's been a reliable daily driver, just as reliable as anything new on the road! I'm proud of the man and the company, despite everything that happened!
Can u find mechanics to work on it? What if you need autobody work done?

Let me tell you this - the cinematography was amazing and very well made.
The actors were really good.
Almost most of Netflix's content is mainstream and generic. No more quality.
Only few rare shows that are worth watching.
That's why I canceled my subscription.

yea if you seen Framing John DeLorean he was part of that Doc and he hates his dad and didn't want do anything about him. but John DeLorean Daughter is nicer and she at lest tried to get her Dad be happy and toke him to DeLorean car show.
Hopefully this addresses the evidence that he was framed.

It was the 70’s. Raising capital was a lot harder back then. All business dreamers are risk takers. America was built on it. He wasn’t perfect, but he did succeed and probably would have continued if it not for the Queen stopping the financing. The car goes down in history as one of the most famous cars in history bar none.

Wtf? Unless you knew John Delorean then his sons opinion will always be more important than most others.
John put his property in his son's name, to save it during bankrupcy, then the government rolled it back. Basically, reversing the sale, and then ousting John out of his own home, and off of his property (since he tried to sell it). There are people that build, and those that tear down. The ones that tear down, are relentless in pursue of their fame, at destroying another man. To be honest, whom is to say the sale was not valid? Legally, if you own something, you are allowed to sell. They wanted to destroy him, to make a name for themselves, and that's just immoral.

Unfortunately the Myth and Mogul series is just a recycling of the earlier-done DeLorean: Back From the Future UK documentary and nothing fresh. It still suffers from the one-sidedness and hearsay gibberish about how “evil” JZD was (and presumably what justified the plot to frame, ruin, and turn him into “the little guy”). Definitely one of the lesser documentaries made about DeLorean and deserving of the trash bin with the rest of the tripe that has been done before it.
The BTTF episode of The Movies That Made Us however is a gem. I really like this series and always wondered why BTTF was never featured in season one. My only gripe was it was too short!
So watch THAT (BTTF The Movies that Made Us) not THIS (John DeLorean Myth and Mogul).
I knew nothing about history of john delorean, so it was still interesting for me. It could be much shorted, as it's going too long, while it is shallow and repetitive. I feel there is a lot of generic statements, specially in first part, where he is supposed to be engineering/managment genius. I didn't like the visual style, the mix feels inconsistent, those black captions on red background, like some tarantino movie and than some blue/white blueprints (da vinci like) animations without any technical details felt unnecessary. Story sometimes jump to Delorean childhood, where it tries to find some roots to his reasoning. But again it does feel like very naive popular psychology. Delorean father was so called abusive 'little man', common worker, so that's Delorean is trying to compensate, while in the end he becomes little man after all. Don't forget give that caption 'little man' over the whole screen. I guess the movie should got into more details, either more focus on psychology, technical details of building car, investigation, etc.
And in addition the fact that the DMC 12 was shown as a front engine car in drawings multiple times!
The people that made the documentary didn't know anything about the actual car.😅

Just watched this... exceptionally well done and surprisingly informative. (I had no idea he was such a pathetic con artist... Delorean gave me the creeps from beginning to end, like that other rediculous con artist, Americas new emperor HRH King Donald.)

John was relentlessly pursued by those that wanted to crush him. And they overstepped the boundaries of law enforcement, into entrapment. But, they still kept going after him. John owned the property that Donald Trump turned into a golf course, in Basking Ridge, NJ, off of River Road (and property where I burred old farm equipment, so, it did not injure the horses). John tried to protect his property, during bankruptcy, by signing it over to his children, but the government unwound it. When John was finally, ousted out of his home, he left, but left two giant dogs to suffer in the locked house. But the neighbors rescued the dogs. To be honest, John DeLorean, was otherwise a great neighbor, and a friend to horse farmers.

Stranger Things season 4 coming soon Well, it's official - not that it's a shock. Stranger Things season 4, announced back in 2019, will not premiere until 2022, Netflix said Friday. for the other ones Umbrella Academy season 3 coming out in Spring or Summer 2022. Lock and Key season 2 coming out in Oct 2021 for Sweet Tooth season 2 is unknow for now.

Many people think the DeLorean was a sports car because it looked cool and BTTF really cemented it as a "poster" car but in reality it was a really crappy and slow car which was very unreliable. It only looked cool that's all lmao
