- My shattered nerves, this week we drive the iconic 4x4 track in the high country and that is billy goats bluff track. The track is very steep with only one area to turn around.
We had this track in mind to do but we did not want to do it on our own and fortunately we met some amazing people which turned out to be our followers that invited us to join them to do billy goats bluff track.
Well we are so glad we did as when we did it we looked at each other and said "there is no way we would have done this on our own"
We did the billy goats bluff track there and back which means we went up and we came down the track. What an achievement and also the experience we got we are very thankful.

Deryck your Landcruiser is just so capable. Cape York was also a demonstration of how good it is. Relax, enjoy the ride.

I did Billy Goats 3 or 4 years ago, there was a guy in a white Cruiser towing a trailer. He turned around at the heli-pad after 3 hours of winching. He completely wrecked his tyres from all the wheel spinning on the sharp rocks to the point where he’d had to go to the nearest tyre place to get new ones, they were just a mess. I couldn’t believe it haha.
I recon it would be a totally different track in the wet. I could see us sliding around etc. Im sure a small camper would do it
Billy Goat Bluff TK is certainly an Iconic High Country Tk well done doing it, we live in East Gippsland and know the area well. Looking forward to next week and taking the Zone across The High Plains Rd, some spectacular views up there too.

Ahaha it was very nerve wracking. D did really well!
We did this track last year at Easter, we had never done anything like it and luckily we had some experienced 4x4 friends who had and showed us the way. Our spare wheel came off just as we’re leaving the helipad, luckier had a great da6 weather wise and got a terrific view at the pinnacles. Derrick you did a great job conquering this iconic track. 😊

I live in a town called traralgon you may have driven through on ya way to dargo. High country as our back yard we do these tracks for fun.. good stuff guys.

@@suelandolt6840 He did well plenty of people have panicked at that point when the car stalled up the Goat track and hit the clutch first and plummeted backwards at great knots before realising it . He is now a lean mean 4wding Machine 🤗🤗

No river crossings so I suppose you don’t need a snorkel
This track is down in Victoria I think isn't it and do you need diff locks n stuff
yes, Its in the victorian high country.We did use both lockers on this track in the dry
