Briksdal Glacier Valley, a natural masterpiece || Briksdalbreen || NORWAY

Briksdal Glacier is a western arm of the Jostedal Glacier, Europe's largest mainland ice mass, nestled within a protected national park. It spans 10.4 square kilometres and is claimed to be formed approximately 2,500 years ago. The main body of the glacier rests on a plateau at 1500 meters above sea level, constituting 88% of its total area. From its peak at 1910 meters, it dramatically descends to Briksdalsvatnet Lake at 350 meters. The horizontal distance covers 2 kilometres.
