And, I guess another child prodigy, Mary Small slipped their mind. And, for me, my childhood friend was the best so far as kids go. Talk about tone, emotion, emphasis on words, range, and she was like 6 or 7, and so it continued, so I'm not naive to children being great. She truly does stand alone. Bill, I agree with you. How is it possible for a 10 year old child, calmly smiling at the camera, while singing in front of an audience. 2:08 She's already a professional singer at young age.
What most impresses me is that, though she is aware, in that potentially stressful situation, that eye contact with the camera with a pleasant facial expression is important, she also knows enough to not stare continuously into the lense. She glances, as one would to an attractive stranger accompanied by a friend, then looks back to the audience to finish a sentence she'd started, then looks back to the camera with an entirely innocent "I'd like to get to know you better" expression, priceless. That level of professionalism before a video camera isn't just picked up from being filmed a lot growing up. Perhaps a lot of prompting from granny? Advanced acting classes at school? Just inate? It's a master class in video camera interaction, phenomenal in a 10 year old. Especially since we never "see" her "acting", on stage or in interviews, always presents as authentic. It must largely be just "who she is", which is entrancing to see.
And... I thought I was the only one that noticed that acknowledgment to the camera and the little smile = Awesome! Her finale of the song, the smile at the end and then the bow = precious!

Yes, this girl is a prodigy. She's a savant. I have watched many of her videos (most an embarrassing number of times) and although I'm not musically educated, I know that we're dealing with a girl that is doing what she was born to do! Every decision she makes is carefully thought out to bring maximum effect! (Climbing 5 octaves followed by that incredibly jazzy run, to end the song) She is mind bogglingly AMAZING!!! This is the information that I have: This was an event held by "Plan International", a humanitarian and development organization with the goal of advancing children's rights and equality for girls around the world. "Foster Parents" sponsor needy children around the world with monetary pledges that go directly to helping the specific children whom they sponsored and are able to communicate with them via Plan International. The event was held on December 30, 2016 if I'm not mistaken at Chateau Neuf Center in Oslo and broadcast on TV2. Angelina was one of several performers and delivered a stunning performance. Most of Angelina's performances after winning Norway Got Talent at age 8 were for children charitable organizations. This Amazing young lady with the big voice and bigger heart is 16 years old now and still performs barefoot to remember the shoeless girl that she met when she was 6 years old and to remind us all of the many needy children around the world.

This was a charity concert in Oslo 30th Decembrr 2016, published 5. January 2017. The same day (?) she did the same song at a New Year Consert with Oppgård Janitsjar at Kolben cultur house at Kolbotn outside Oslo.
I was so impressed when I heard Carly Rose sing this same song in AGT a few years back, but Angelina took this song to another level with her control and timing of her runs, her power was not in how loud she could make it, but how engaging. There is power in a whisper that makes people lean in to hear, especially when the story told is absolutely captivating. It is not Angelina's age that makes this so incredible, it is her delivery that at any age would make her performance exceptional.
I wonder if she would have finished higher on AGT if she would have sung this instead of maybe "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" or one of her later choices?
Yes, I've always remembered Carly Rose Sonenclair's rendition of this song and of "Rolling in the Deep," because they were so outstandingly performed by a 13 year old girl. But, like you said, Angelina has taken this to another level -- stratospheric!

Apart from AJ's unparallel performance, I have to thank TV2 of Norway for this excellent production: stage, lightings, musicians, cinematography, editing and etc are all first rated.
I absolutely agree and I've watched this so many times it's embarrassing. LOL! One small thing is at the end and in a couple of other places, the band's audio in the mix is louder than Angelina's so you can hardly hear her runs. It's still totally awesome however!

Angelina is so confident in her voice. She never loses her quiet poise, no matter who or how loud the band is.
So confident and relaxed, a little smile to the camera and owning the stage. Unbelievable at that age.

Yes, this girl is a prodigy. She's a savant. I have watched many of her videos (most an embarrassing number of times) and although I'm not musically educated, I know that we're dealing with a girl that is doing what she was born to do! Every decision she makes is carefully thought out to bring maximum effect! (Climbing 5 octaves followed by that incredibly jazzy run, to end the song) She is mind bogglingly AMAZING!!! I sure hope I get to see her in concert.

This was an event held by "Plan International", a humanitarian and development organization with the goal of advancing children's rights and equality for girls around the world. "Foster Parents" sponsor needy children around the world with monetary pledges that go directly to helping the specific children whom they sponsored and are able to communicate with them via Plan International.
The event was held on December 30, 2016 if I'm not mistaken at Chateau Neuf Center in Oslo and broadcast on TV2.
Angelina was one of several performers and delivered a stunning performance.
Most of Angelina's performances after winning Norway Got Talent at age 8 were for children charitable organizations.

I was so impressed when I heard Carly Rose sing this same song in AGT a few years back, but Angelina took this song to another level with her control and timing of her runs, her power was not in how loud she could make it, but how engaging. There is power in a whisper that makes people lean in to hear, especially when the story told is absolutely captivating. It is not Angelina's age that makes this so incredible, it is her delivery that at any age would make her performance exceptional.

I absolutely agree and I've watched this so many times it's embarrassing. LOL! One small thing is at the end and in a couple of other places, the band's audio in the mix is louder than Angelina's so you can hardly hear her runs. It's still totally awesome however!
