Monks of Midelt (Febrary 2021)

This video pays homage to the Cistercian monks living in Midelt since 2000, and more particularly to Father Jean-Pierre Schumacher, the last survivor of Tibhirine (Algeria), for his 97 years and his 25 years (a quarter of a century) spent in Morocco in meditation and prayer. Father Jean-Pierre Schumacher is a miracle who escaped the Tibhirine massacre, with the late Amédée one of his brothers, but also the Covid19 from which he has just recovered !!.
On the occasion of this anniversary, we had a deep thought for the seven monks kidnapped and beheaded in March 1996 in Tibhirine during the civil war in Algeria.
