This tank is one of the reasons I got into the hobby. I hope you and the reef are still thriving.
One of the best tanks I've ever seen
@gunit 010 unpopular opionion nano tanks look better than massive tanks
@@Henryelzie8273 I agree 100% that’s why I have A nano tank as well
@@FishingNH6378 I agree because I can’t afford a big tank
Whenever U show your tank I see to be looking at zoas the most. They just pop and look amazing. Tank looks great thanx for video
Thanks appreciate it! Yes zoas always are eye catching for the colors they have 🤙🏼
the colors and layout of your reef tank are absolutely fantastic! Congratulations. Amo os Zoanthus ( são meus corais favoritos) e os seus são incrivelmente lindos!;
It's not only the zoas, sps, polyps etc. The way you place them is a work of art! Beautiful!
Beautiful Tank!!!! Hopefully my 40 gal breeder can look this nice one day
Looks like I'm looking into a kaleidoscope... Hands down one of the best zoa farms I've ever seen. That is my goal is to make it look at least halfway as good as yours
Looking good, not only zoas, you have palys in this, they look good ❤️
WOW! Just WOW at those colors! Great job! I love having Paly's and Zoo's in my tank. They are so easy to spread and propagate. Kudos to your light as well!
Thanks appreciate it :)
Every time a see these JBJ tanks they look amazing.
Beautiful and inspiring tank. Thank you so much for sharing
The colours in your tank are freaking CRAZYYYY. 😍😍😍
Thanks appreciate it! 😊
I have watched your video over and over again it is so aesthetically pleasing amazing beautiful reef tank
excellent colour. amazing
Astonishing zoas bravo
Great tank! Brilliant colors and placement. I’ve got hammer garden. Duncan garden. Torch garden. Toadstool garden. Mixed mushrooms - ricordea, rodactis and discosoma garden. But really what’s growing best is my acan garden. Very cool to do these.
I’ve got in another tank a flat rock covered in long neon green gsp and has near the edge of it a stalk of branching hammer. Looks like a open grassy field with a tree.
this is one of the best tanks ive seen. in my tank im trying to build a zoa garden, but i want extra room for different corals in the future.
Beautiful tank!
Love that tank
Great video! I’m working on a zoa garden myself. I’ve got some Blastomussa Merletti mixed in with them with I think will work out nicely. The lush and mature look of zoa, acans, etc that can be grown together can really make a tank.
It should all work out. Wishing you luck!!
Hands down the best Zoa garden aquarium on earth.
This tank is stupid good! Thanks for sharing.
So beautiful. Thank you for sharing your tips.
Beautiful
excellent info! i will try your recommendation. thank you
Your tank is stunning
Stunning! 👌
Tengo discus, pero vi esto y me dan ganas tener zoas. Beautiful
greate job
Most beautiful tank on CZcams
beautiful tank.. love the colors... i hope one day my tank looks like this. Just started my 60 gallon saltwater tank..
Great job Antonio coloration really came back with a vengeance haa
They are crazy looking
Nice.👍like friends
Great vid… amazing set up.. will be looking at doing similar… thx team
Love what you have done and how it looks. Keep up the great work. 👍
Appreciate it 😊
I can tell that you have good taste when buying corals. Nothing is cheap in your tank.
Such A Beautiful Example Of A Successfully Thriving Mini Reef! Great VID 🎥
Great vid, great content. I was especially interested in the fact you don’t glue tge plugs down. Great idea especially as they grow, clash colour etc
Beautiful tank
Regards Duzzy🇦🇺
Beautiful.
I am really curious to see your original aquascape it would be nice if you made a video how you started and how did you plan your aquascpe and vision you had before starting it
Will do :) I actually have all the original video clips
habavonc Y
EAT SLEEP Reef Yes can you show us those videos that would be really nice 👍
Thanks !! that would be really helpful because I have spent almost $4000 on 40g tank with small sump and got all the high end devices and hoping to have some good advises from somebody who has a big success like you !!
Yes I would also like to see the original plan. Very beautiful tank!!
Great info man, thank you!
Your garden is right on track man.
Lol big I'm a big fan
coral reef looking Beautiful 👍
Thanks
Wow looks Amazzz
Wow beautiful gorgeous
You have such a beautiful tank. This is my dream goal for my tank. I was almost there once with my old tank but I got zoa eating nudibranch then things went downhill.
D:
I literally rested my eyes. Thank you
What are you talking about, That is extremely stimulating to the eyes
Your uv lens is really making your color pop!
Very,Very nice!
I got 2 new frags of zoas 3 weeks back. One had 2 polyps the other had 3. The one with 2 now has 4 and the one with 3 now has 5. Pretty good growth, can’t wait to see if it gets even faster as they settle down.
Should all spread fast once settled , one of my colonies now has nearly 30 heads , rasta zoanthids too
@@MegaRory14 yeah it’s grown even some more buds since I made this comment 2 days ago. Pretty ridiculous. Never seen zoas grow this quick until I set up my new tank.
@@kevinkane1405 can I ask what are you doing with your tank to make them grow?
Fantastic tank! Great video and some good information. Thank you!
Glad you had take sways ;)
Sooo beautiful
Great video. Wish my zoa garden looked that good.
It’s easy to replicate
I got a steal on my Rastas. There were about 10 polyps on the plug, and paid $20 for the small colony. Today there are over 20 small polyps. Now to wait for those polyps to get bigger as they are kind of small right now.
Beautiful tank looks good
Thanks 😊
Outstanding reef!!!
I think you may need a bigger tank with all them corals :)
Couldn’t agree more hahahahaha
Awesome reef !!!!
This is my dream tank! 💗
Beautiful..
So beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
That’s a beautiful tank!
Channel gone dark. 😳😂. Hope he’s planning a dream tank wherever they relocate. 👍
Love your zoas!!
This tank is amazing !!!!
Cool video’s love them!
lindíssimo!!! um dos reefs mais bonitos que já vi, um dia chego lá rsrsrsrs
Your tank is amazing can you do a video on your set up, filtration and the works?
looks great!!
Lovely tank bud.
Beautiful Zoa garden & tank. Well done video. Subbed your channel..
Beautiful tank man
Thanks :)
My favorite zoo garden!!!! I’m just starting mine!! It’s gona be crazy if it all works out. Only issue I seem to be having is slower growth? Maybe from the low nutrient system. So I’m going to feed more reef roids and see how it goes. Any recommendations on good sellers of some of these outstanding zoas?
Depends on how old your tank it. For my
Corals to start booming in growth took over a year. Be patient it will pay off.
simply awesome video!!!
The is
Thanks!
Amazing reef
Looks good
AWESOME REEF!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I started with 1 Bam Bam and ended up with a colony of over 150 to 160
Your colors are beyond amazing! Do you use orange filter under actinics when getting these shots?? And how do you manage your nutrients with roids at twice weekly?
Your tanq is beautiful 😍
But I think it takes time and patience to keep it that way so amazing
Obvious it must also be expensive hahaha 🤭
Congratulations good job 👏
You have one of the most beautiful reef tanks and Zoa gardens I’ve ever seen! Also a very helpful video, as my 11 year old son and I are finally trying our hand at keeping a reef tank (26 gallon Red Sea MAX Nano tank) and Zoa’s are at the top of our list to have in the tank. We need all the advice we can get at this point!
One quick question for you….. Are there any Zoa varieties that you find to be difficult to keep, or that you would not recommend to a beginner? I’ve heard there are some types that are much more finicky than others for whatever reason. Thanks!!!
when i see this i think of avatar in the forest when all light up!
what does your water change schedule look like? i ask because you are feeding reef roids 2 times a week and a tank that small you might have a risk of high nitrates, unless you have another way of nutrient transport..... my son just scored 3 frags of some zoas and we are starting up a small garden on a rock on its own away from the full aquascape! Love the tank! keep the videos coming!!!!
Wow man, your corals look superb, what lights are you running?
Great video at a perfect time for me.... lol. I'm about to embark on a similar mission but have had the polyps separated for quite a while and as such they are many more than i originally had.. ie 6 Rasta polyps became 160... smh.... What do you do when they polyps have grown off the plug and are attached to the rock? I'm thinking of removing the original plug, leaving surrounding polyps to do their thing. then using original parent polyps to start a new colony along their new neighbours.. Probably going to give the Acan/Zoa combo rock a try too.... Cheers buddy!
Hey man as far as zoas on rock they are hard to get off you can try with a sharp blade but won’t be easy. A good idea is to leave them there and start planting around them. Or remove them completely with tweezers if you don’t want them.
Muito lindo parabéns
Love your zoas! Im jealous 😉
Hi your tank looks absolutely amazing and love all your videos!!
I have a nano tank full of zoas but they have slightly gone dull from how they were and I wondered if you know of a reason why this could be?
I do have elevated phosphates of 0.1-0.25 undetectable nitrates so i’m now dosing to hit the red field ratio and balance both out, dkh is 10.4, PH 8 and I have the 18w innovative light with the tank height of 1ft.
I also feed reef roids, reef snow, zooplankton/phytoplankton, Red Sea A+B reef energy and brightwell vitamin c
Kind regards,
They don’t like high phosphate according to my experience
LOTS of light and LOTS of flow.
Are you spot feeding or broadcast feeding? Where are they placed in the tank?....the tank is 12 inches tall or you have your light 12 inches above the water line? based on the numbers you provided, I would raise the nitrates right? and personally I would go to a PH of 8.4-8.8. Sounds like it could have to do mostly with light though. I don't know much about your light. I pretty much only use kessels because I can really control ramp up/down periods. You are doing this? Or are you doing it manually? I ask because it has made a HUGE difference for me. I have a 28g nano and use the kessel a180 tuna blue. I keep it close to the water so there aren't many places not getting light, but then I turn the intensity down to not fry my fishies.....I don't think my lighting schedule ever gets to 100% color/intensity...I think they hover around 65 maybe 75%...oh, are they at least eating? That is always a good sign. I hope everything worked out for you.
👀 I have so much to learn
Would be interesting to find corals that do well with each other but shield each other from different corals. I’ve got a rock of GSP with a chalice on a rock on that rock and slightly above. I have another GSP field with branching hammer looks like trees in a pasture.
My jaw dropped when the video started
Fantastic growth needs science to get these results. What light setup are you using? Please? No one else seems to want to know.
I picked up s ome liverock that had quite a few tonga branches and, shaped rock. I cant use i n sandbed to make bridges or anything so i have them up against the back glass and a overhang connecting them. That means the corals arent going to get direct lights shinning down on them(except overhang) since they are placed vertically. Looks gorgeous but cant seem to get par meter to work so not sure of par so therefore havnt glued anything down. There are some spots that would get direct light participially the overhang so thought of putting other corals in those spots. I also thought of making this a zoa/mushroom garden. Do you think that is a good idea since they would grow verically and not get direct light? Would the shrooms grow over them? I love shrooms and know they can over take a tank so not sure where else to put them!
These colors are much more intense than most reef tanks...is your only lighting on this tank from a Radion XR15 G4 X2? Or do you have additional lights?
Only the two radions that’s it
@@eatsleepreef9565 what is a good inexpesive radion or the least expensive? LOL I have current orbit loop, which isn't cheap but compared to radions is very cheap. I googled best light and the lists always come back current #1 and cheap black box like hipagaro and all. Makes no sense because all the lfs use radions and man oh man when you bring the coral home it makes you wonder if they switched corals on you when your back was turned haha. The difference is insane! Hopefully I can find some used onens. I have seen some small round kessels used several time but they are so small that I would more than likely need a ton for a 75 gallon. Are those small kessils radions..If you know the ones I am speaking off.
Your tank is absolutely lovely! None of your corals seem to mind running into each other. I didnt know Zoas, Palys, Acans, SPS, and a clam could all live happily together! I swear there are even euphyllia touching everything... Do you run carbon or something? Any suggestions for one whos corals are all finally starting to run into each other?
I think the saying is the best things in life are free
NOICE
Wow. Someone gave you all of those? That is a lot of money worth of frags! Very cool. You have some nice colors. I like the one with the yellow center and purple "pedals" ...it looks like scrambled eggs...is it? Thanks..great vid.
Yes all gifted. I want to say yes scrambled eggs :)
VERY nice! I just went to vivid corals and bought a single freaking polyp, and it was $50!! per polyp! They called it a deal since i drove hours to get there and spend a few hundred bucks.... unbelievable. Oh well, It already has a very small second polyp and i can see 2 more budding :D I am aspiring for a tank similar to yours. I had no idea what I was getting into with reefing! Anyways, thanks again for the video...I hope you keep em coming....have a "name all the zoas" video :D
Wonderful❤. Please tell us about toxicity related to this coral 🪸.
Newbie question here. What’s the green “grass like” coral you have near the water surface? Thanks for the work you put into the channel.
GSP. Super easy to keep but crazy evasive
@@eatsleepreef9565 Not long after I posted the question I realized you had a whole video on the subject. Thanks for the reply.
I just purchased a bunch of different zoanthids I’m waiting for them to get shipped, I can’t wait to get my tank to look like this it’s amazing, I’m using two China black boxes set at 30% white and 30% blue, do you think that’s a good setting for them? I also have a Duncan and a blasto in my tank as well, my Duncan is starting to grow more heads witch is a good sign in my opinion
