To be honest the best product for this purpose is SIKAs product but we didn't want to mention that as people would have considered it to be an advertisement or sponsored video and this is not the case
I was waiting for the guest to speak about marble but he didn’t address it so I am commenting instead. Have to take the roof decision pretty soon.
1. Would using marble cause the same issues as with chips i.e seepage of water?
2. Our contractor mentioned badal marble. What are the pros and cons of that?
3. What type of marble should one use?

I have a marble roof, and the top floor gets very hot because the contractor did not properly install heat and waterproofing. What solutions are available for existing marble roofs with these issues?
The surface from top might be hot but i think it will be reflecting your heat though. For both heat and waterproofing there are local chemicals available and SIKA raingard is also the product that provides both water proofing and cooler roof
