during winter when the rest of country consume less electricity, the entire northern areas needs more energy for heating, let's say your summer requirement is 26 K MW, and in winter you need 20 K MW, 6 K MW is abounded , it can be sent back to those area which need energy for heating , I know they may not have buying power as anyone have in major city but at least rates can be reduced. theft needs to be stop at any cost, but that one is not possible because it's our national game.

@@SaadNFlimz it depends, upto 100 unit it's 7 rs in my state and if you consume below 100 units then the bill will be 70-80 rs, in previous 6 years I only once paid 350 reaming all are below 100 rs, and in my hometown in a Rural area where we consume 250 units and the will 2000 to 2500 each month.
