  • David Adeleye has made a strong start to his professional career after signing with Frank Warren, knocking out both of his opponents and sparring with Tyson Fury in preparation for the Deontay Wilder rematch.

    5:15 The fact he knows Tyson and Joshua are in a different league at the moment says a lot about this man .. It’s rare to hear a young fighter say something like that because they’re usually rushing for a title shot. The fact he knows he’s not ready and is continuing to learn will stand to him in the future. He’s going to achieve big things!

      Give the young man time and learn from Daniel Dubois. There's a video stating DD dropped AJ in sparring in which he neither confirmed or denied.

      Honestly after his A levels he should of just focused on boxing so he could become a pro by 18 or 19. He wasted his time on a degree that he will probably never use. Most elite athletes don’t even complete school.

      When I was watching him on the pads and on the bag, I couldn't help but think, 1. his physique isn't amazing so he would have to make up for it with excellent speed / technique such as Tyson Fury does, but no he doesn't look too well balanced or fluid either, I don't think he will be the best as he's already 23 but he could make champion.

      @@dalegrant9282 He's no young Mike Tyson, for sure, but he may well have enough to pick up a world title and win a couple of defences. He seems very level-headed which will help - he won't go off the rails like so many fighters.

      @@tullochgorum6323 Good point I definitely agree he's got so much going for him, like Joshua or a Bruno, but these types become unstuck against 'true' fighters, natural fighting men who are forces of nature, further harnessed by skill and intelligence, such as mike tyson and his namesake fury.

    Sparring is far different than actual fighting, Gorman beat Dubois in sparring but got dominated in the actual fight, and I'm sure Fury doesn't spar with as much effort as he fights

    Nobody can form an opinion on this young boxer until he has had some fights against credible boxers. As is the case with all boxers. Mike Tyson is my favorite boxer and as yet i haven't seen anyone like him.

    Promising dude, I watched his fight recently. Easy fight for him. Nowhere near Furys level atm. Maybe in the future. I hope he realises that seasoned pros rarely give close to their best in sparring. Its usually a way for them to practice stuff they usually don't against much less éxpierienced boxers.

    He needs to join Matchroom with Eddie Hearn he will have the best career there. He’s only had 2 fights and his debut was back in 2019 in August and now were in late 2020. He need to fight every week or every two weeks that what stage he’s at in his career at the moment. He’s thought someone who’s lost 62 times and someone that has only fought twice and lost twice. He might be a good heavyweight for the future but he’s nothing special imo.
