5:15 The fact he knows Tyson and Joshua are in a different league at the moment says a lot about this man .. It’s rare to hear a young fighter say something like that because they’re usually rushing for a title shot. The fact he knows he’s not ready and is continuing to learn will stand to him in the future. He’s going to achieve big things!
Yeh I mean realistically by the time this guy challenges for a world title shot, Tyson, AJ etc all gonna be retired I reckon.
Seems like a good man hope he goes all the way
"Held myself well" and "Held my own against Tyson Fury!" are not the same thing... garbage title
Give the young man time and learn from Daniel Dubois. There's a video stating DD dropped AJ in sparring in which he neither confirmed or denied.
well done him getting the degree as well good luck to him
Honestly after his A levels he should of just focused on boxing so he could become a pro by 18 or 19. He wasted his time on a degree that he will probably never use. Most elite athletes don’t even complete school.
@@ZAXN at least he’s got something to call back on if he gets a career ending injury or when he finishes boxing
@@ZAXN : And most "elite" sport people end up broke and empty few years after retirement. The career of sport people is short, hence it's worth acquiring skills in other fields.
Great to see another British heavyweight coming through. The golden era 🇬🇧
Yea he really looks british.
We are running it. AJ, Fury, Whyte, Chisora, DD, and Joyce
@@h.m.6423 Being British has grown beyond the ethnic Brit. It has become a culture a few decades before now. Maybe 6 decades ago, London itself became morr diverse since the 50s. Classic Black Brit look
@@billclark5055 only 1 of 6 are british. Rest are africans.
@@billclark5055 its amazing how branwashed real brits have become
Smart, articulate, big, fast and a quick learner. This young man seems to tick a lot of boxes. I hope he can overcome his late start and make it all the way...
When I was watching him on the pads and on the bag, I couldn't help but think, 1. his physique isn't amazing so he would have to make up for it with excellent speed / technique such as Tyson Fury does, but no he doesn't look too well balanced or fluid either, I don't think he will be the best as he's already 23 but he could make champion.
@@dalegrant9282 He's no young Mike Tyson, for sure, but he may well have enough to pick up a world title and win a couple of defences. He seems very level-headed which will help - he won't go off the rails like so many fighters.
@@tullochgorum6323 Good point I definitely agree he's got so much going for him, like Joshua or a Bruno, but these types become unstuck against 'true' fighters, natural fighting men who are forces of nature, further harnessed by skill and intelligence, such as mike tyson and his namesake fury.
@@dalegrant9282 Joshua is an Olympic Gold Medalist, i don't think he fits that mold exactly despite his late start. I think he will beat Fury
Him vs Dubois in the future would be class
Both competing holding all belts between em, be savage
yeah what ever mate
DD would destroy him
@@truebut3243 for now
Rowan Perry, that would be a class fight. This dude still needs a few years before he can challenge DDD
I like David, he seems very humble. Looks like he’s got a good set of genetics as well. Looking forward to seeing him fight 🥊
Yeah, the Nigerian genetics
@@kenrow3604 ethnicity has nothing to do with it lol
@@clinteastwood5359 The Kenyan/Ethiopian plateau tribe, the Kalenjin usually win Marathons because of Genetics, not ethnicity. Ano more questions?
@@kenrow3604 dont try to make up for your inferior genes by crying your nonsense on youtube. All strongman competitors are white , except one named Mark Felix , and hes from Grenada lol. Any more questions ?
Honestly, for someone on PEDs (like all boxers ), his physique isnt good lol.
Looks like the former sprinter Dwain Chambers
I see it👍🏽
Good lad. Inspirational to all.
Lovely interview why on earth would 6 people dislike this.🤔
Probably because he didn’t mention wilder in fury and AJ’s league
Seems like he understands boxing and has a good plan hope he does well
Can't help but draw similarities to a young frank bruno yano 💯✊🏽✊🏽
From the same area 👍🏿
@@beast2k6 I mean in stature and movement

Love it
Tyson rates this guy chin 💯
At least he’s a realist and knows to get his degree as he doesn’t really believe he’s going to make it big in boxing 🥊 FairPlay to him
He might make it big
@@billclark5055 but doesn't believe it

Thats not what he said at all though.

fury vs joshua will be the biggest fight in the recent future but imagine dubois vs adeleye for the heavyweight championship when joshua and fury are past it
It will be mega,
Joshua will be finished as soon as Fury and get at him but i suspect his camp will duck n dive as long as possible. David is the future, humble, hard n fast. Improved immensly tonight from his fight a few weeks ago...Dubous watch your back NKOTB.
Real talent & potential, good look hope he picks up a world title!
Looks promising, decent mentality too, hope he goes all the way!! Might even put a bet on him being future champ 😉😉
Looking strong 🏆🇬🇧
Love watching him, he has a great mindset and I hope he can win world titles in the near future 👑
Love to see him with the White Rhino.
So excited to see this man smart and game bred
he got joshua vibes, with the humor and the smile. I rate him💪🏾
Another British-Nigerian 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬. Yaaayy!....Love from a Naija brother!. Weldone bro......Britain having 2 Nigerian Warriors Anthony Joshua and David Adeleye!...
Really like this guy hope he goes far
Comes across as a down to earth bloke. Wish him all the best
He's fast for a big guy.... Seems clued up too...
He seems like the guy the sport needs.
All the best 👍👍
I hope the best for this man.
good lad he’s going to go far
" I'd Rather wake up Sore not Sorry " This Lad is going to go Far !
Hope he does well he has put the work in,class room and ring .
Seems like a good lad. Certainly looks the part. Looking forward to watching him on Saturday 👍🏻
This here is a monster in the making, keep following him.
@Carl Callaghan tryna play?
What a top bloke with a solid mindset.
Good lad and is inspiring for other young guys and gals wanting to make a career from boxing. Education first. I wish him well.
I love how he is not cocky
Good look looks like a bright future ahead of him.
Really good head on his shoulders wants to learn and do it the right way. Big career ahead for this guy
I wish this man well in the game
Very good speaker as well I can see him being a good promoter
Saw David on Saturday night, looked good , watching with interest.
looks like a top lad. hope he makes it
Very decent young man I hope he does well
Very likeable guy. Going to go far for sure.
Sparring is far different than actual fighting, Gorman beat Dubois in sparring but got dominated in the actual fight, and I'm sure Fury doesn't spar with as much effort as he fights
Nobody can form an opinion on this young boxer until he has had some fights against credible boxers. As is the case with all boxers. Mike Tyson is my favorite boxer and as yet i haven't seen anyone like him.
Your contradicting yourself lol, Mike tyson lost every time he fought a credible opponent
He has the personality which is a start in making a name for yourself these days. Great genetics as someone else has said, hope he goes far, will be routing for him! Great attitude
Good luck to him!
Top prospect with a good head on his shoulders.
Heavy handed, Nice sharp Jab. Potential.
Nice lad hope he does well!
Good luck to him:)🇬🇧
0:50 breaking down how Povetkin knocked out whyte
Lovely jab
he's fast...sharp.
Great prospect 🥊 fast hands, brains 🧠 and brawn 💪 amasing Jab 🤜 British Boxing has a great future 👍🥊🥊
Best of luck to him
Coming across very well.
I have been following his life since a long time ago cos we share same name
future champ.
He remember me Franck Bruno(voice ,attitude...)great job
Pls Nothing like him
Seems legit. Really like the guy. Can bang as well
Ade, I am very Happy u following ur dream in boxing like AJ; and representing Great Britain! Pls follow in the footsteps of AJ: stay humble, hungry, respectful and do less talk against opposition.
Pls be highly disciplined, focused and hardworking. And by the way, u really handsome too.
God bless ur hustle, my fellow countryman!!!
Is there more boxing on Saturday is there?
My prediction for this guy - by the end of his career he'll be right up there with Lennox and Fury in the pantheon of legends.
Good Lad
Frank bruno is a different breed
Muhammad Ali and Larry Holmes vibes
I would like to see him fight against Efe Ajagba.
He looks potentially something special. Fair play
🤣🤣🤣 youtube subtitles have done it this time; every time James De Gale is mentioned, the subtitles show "James the girl" 🤣🤦♂️
Good luck
Then look forward to fighting him in a year or 2 buddy.
what a brilliant young man
Happy he got a degree patterned too hands and brains
The Adesanya of boxing
Jheez Joyce should pick up a few lines from him 📑
Promising dude, I watched his fight recently. Easy fight for him. Nowhere near Furys level atm. Maybe in the future. I hope he realises that seasoned pros rarely give close to their best in sparring. Its usually a way for them to practice stuff they usually don't against much less éxpierienced boxers.
"I'd rather wake up sore not sorry"
If this guy was Furry spurring partner then surely Deontay had no chance!
No wonder Furry was 100% confidence.
He is big, fast ,swift and skilled.
Can't wait to see Adebaye Vs Dubois....
Let's see his record after 40 fights before making judgments on how good he is.
Frank is doing well on him and Tyson Fury helping out too. But if this guy fight TR fighter (Efe Ajagba) he will lose because he said he can fight others except for Fury & AJ. Efe Ajagba will like fight him in UK.
🇬🇧He can bang🇬🇧
He is a bt and frank Warren fighter so I expect some wars against some Albanians with a combined record of 5 wins 94 losses till he is 20 and 0 then frank will shouting about a world title trying to use a champions name and fame to get the fight. So hopefully we should know how good the guy actually is after that world title fight 😂😂
Seems like a talented guy but don’t know how far he would get with that coach.
What makes u say that
He looks like Denzel Washington what a superstar he's gonna be
Frank doesn't half gas up his fighters
New frank Bruno?
People making comparisons to joshua... guys I’m sure he’s about 3 stone lighter and 4 inches smaller 😂
He needs to join Matchroom with Eddie Hearn he will have the best career there. He’s only had 2 fights and his debut was back in 2019 in August and now were in late 2020. He need to fight every week or every two weeks that what stage he’s at in his career at the moment. He’s thought someone who’s lost 62 times and someone that has only fought twice and lost twice. He might be a good heavyweight for the future but he’s nothing special imo.
He needs to approach teddy atlas and learn the peekaboo style... next young fighter to master that style will take over the division
Would love to see teddy back in the corner in a heavyweight world title fight!
Would be stupid as he is 6ft5 peakaboo style is for short fighters
@@Jay_199 Someone with logic.
We (British ) seem to rule the heavy weight division at the moment .
Tell it Like it is BOMBBBBB SQUADDDD!!! 🤣🤣
I honestly think we will be running it after Fury and Joshua retires with the young prospect's we have. No country is breeding Heavyweight's like England is. 🏴
Fabio would silence him
Well if he holds his own again Tyson already what's he waiting for? Get in the ring now
Hi
He is giant man, build like a brick house but he need to learn to move his head when throwing a punch . Never fight like a robot bro
He reminds me of herbie hide, let’s hope he don’t go the same way !
