- Zimbabwe has announced plans to return some farms to their former white owners. This comes 15 years after the government sanctioned widespread land grabs that plunged Zimbabwe into economic chaos. But many say the announcement is as confusing as it is exciting.CCTV's Farai Mwakutuya reports.

Presumably if a black man in Kenya wants to own a farm, he has to come up with the money to do so - and the whole time he is focused on that dream, he is thinking about how he is going to make it work, because no one else is going to do it for him. And no one is going to make a big investment like that without having a plan on how to make that investment work, so presumably that black farmer will be just as successful as the white farmers. This is in comparison to in Zimbabwe where the black ex-soldiers simply took over the white farms, invested nothing, and had no plan beyond enforcing racist ideology.
