I always like your happy and positive attitude, bunk beds look like they turned out great.
Thank you so much for saying that! I’m so glad you enjoy watching my videos :) bunk beds are fantastic!!😄
Besides enjoying your woodwork, I appreciated most is your cheerfulness! Thank you for making it seem so painless and easy, most importantly, so much fun making something for your kids.
Thank you so much for your kind comment ☺️ I’m so happy you enjoy my videos😊 haha it’s not always painless and easy😆

Omg! You’re amazing!!
2:13 the poster/pic on the back wall 😂 😂
By the way, hardware stores sell adapters for the shop vac hose and others d:)
Awww!! Thank you! Haha yes, it’s my most favorite calendar with sexy men😂 it’s a she-shop after all 😂
Yes, thank you!! I need to get on it for my next build! The sawdust is killing me🙈
Awesome
Thank you ☺️
Thats brilliantly made well done perfectly filmed and easy to follow. Get wood sanded first by prof, or damp it down. How about a single mattress in both and then put carpet, tiny desk, and clock. In the other half. 🤔 Might try that. God bless us all.
Thank you so much Tracy for your nice comment!
Sanding wood first is a great idea, I didn’t think that I’d have to sand it inside the room🙈
Your idea about single mattresses is so intriguing! Thank you for suggestion!
❤️
Kash mera bhi bed hota esa ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔
Nice I’m even planing to buy a bunk bed
Haha I'm actually selling this one since I'm moving across country soon! If you live nearby it can be yours😁
Aww I would love to have it but I live in Pakistan
If ur coming here then u can give me
And what’s the price
Great job just wondering how the middle supports are holding with those pocket holes? They dont look that sturdy
Thank you!!
Pocket holes are quite sturdy! Plus there are 2 supports (2x4”) and supports on the side (which I glued and used screws as well) that hold the slats for the mattress.
If you are making this bunkbed “for good” and not planning to disassemble it at any time, you could also apply glue with pocket holes.
I built it in august and so far so good! Although I feel very comfortable with the construction in terms of safety, please do your research and if you have any tips for me, please let me know. Happy holidays!!!
Hi I am loving your creation where did you post the free plans the ones on the link are to purchase?
Hi there! I have free plans on the blog, but if you want to download plans as PDF they are for a small fee now:)
Put your shop vac up to the table saw fitting and duck/duct tape them together, or get a double female shop vac fitting.
Yes!! Great suggestion with a duct tape. I also need to research on that connector for the shop vac!
@@IfOnlyApril any hardware store or Wally-world should have them.
@ifonlyapril I'm running into a problem with the ladder. The rungs spin with the weight and actually very easily. I can just spin them with my hands. Did you have this problem? Instead of nailing from the outside I made pocket holes in each step and screwed them into the ladder sides.
Hi there! Yes! I had this problem too! I fixed it by adding wood glue.
Pocket holes are an excellent idea! would make it super secure.
After 5 months have you noticed and racking or is it still pretty solid
It is very solid! And I hang out on the top bunk quite a lot myself😄
I've been looking for very specific bunk bed plans because our house is old and has low second level ceilings, about 80inches. How did you determine your height to be 59''?
I like your design and will most like build one for my girls. Also, any tips on sizing for twin mattresses?
Hi Pilar! I made it this tall since the ceiling in this house is angled and I couldn't make it taller. Just measure the size of the twin mattress and adjust the width. I might have plans available for twin size bed on the blog soon
@@IfOnlyApril thank you, April.
Can sômeone with no previous experience make it? You think it’s ok to give it a go? How much space does it require to make?
Hi there! If you never built anything before it probably will be too complicated and you’d mess up a lot. I’d try to make smaller projects first, simply to make mistakes and learn from them.
This bunk bed is big in size and requires a lot of lumber. You wouldn’t want to mess it up. So I’d suggest to build something smaller first.
If you have a little of experience than I’d give it a go! :) I hope that helps!
@@IfOnlyApril thank you x:)
This. Is so easy but I need the plans
I have plans on my blog and working on a printable plan. Will come out in January :)
Instead of putting a bed at the bottom cat you make a plan where there is a desk underneath?
like an lL shaped desk
Hi!! That’s an excellent idea! Unfortunately I have a list of projects that I need to do and I don’t have a need at the moment to make this bed with a desk underneath. But once we move out from this house and both of my kids have separate rooms, I’m planning to repurpose this bunk bed and make a desk under it :)
@@IfOnlyApril ok
Do the kids still have the bunk bed would you recommend them my wife is thinking of getting the boy's bunk beds they are 5 and 4
Hi Joe! I had to sell the bunk bed because we moved and now kids have separate bedrooms. But they loved it for 2 years. I would highly recommend it!
Could you make a video of their new room do you have waterproof covers on their beds
