I've had one of these for 18 months. Unfortunately, about three weeks ago the app stopped working. Basically, I have the app installed on a Galaxy android tablet. When I click on the motion mount icon and then "connect to your motion mount" it doesn't seem to be able to find it and nothing happens.
This looks great! Do you know if it's possible to set another off-position than with the arms fully retracted? I'd like to mount my TV close to a window, so it will obstruct the window while powered on, and then it needs to be swiveled to one side while being off.

Yo, I just bought this and I'm using it with an LG OLED55C8. It is not automatically moving out when I turn my TV on. I tried everything but it's not working for me. I even tried connecting it to my audio receiver so that when I turn that on, it moves out but it doesn't. It does move back in against the wall when I manually move it out. Do you know how to fix this?
HansHansse- how loud would you describe the motors as? There are not many videos about but on one it sounds very loud.
@@Mattdon558 It's not very loud and it doesn't disturb me at all. But it isn't silent. And you only hear it when you turn the TV on and off so it's no problem for me.
Hi HansHansse, did you ever resolve this issue? I bought one of these mounts before Xmas to use with a new Sony OLED KD48A9 TV and I am having virtually the same issue as you. Don’t seem to be getting anywhere fast with Vogel’s support either
@@veedub80099 It just worked all of a sudden. Vogels did send me a special adapter so it can work with an OLED tv. I think I have the sensitivity set to normal and configured it so that the TV always returns to the last used position when turning it on.
@HansHansse I’m glad yours worked out in the end. I wonder what the OLED adapter is they sent you - this isn’t something they have suggested to me yet, did you use it? Vogel’s have sent me 2 replacement mounts so far (entirely new brackets) but still getting the same issues:
1. When finished watching TV and turn off using TV remote, the bracket returns to the wall but doesn’t go flat/flush - the left side protrudes further from the wall than the right side (there are no cables in the way and the bracket is properly fitted to the wall - level and true).
2. Turn TV on with TV remote and intermittently the TV will turn on but the bracket doesn’t move, sometimes after a short delay (30 seconds or more sometimes) it will then move to position, sometimes it doesn’t move at all - I then go into the app on my phone and tell it to move to one of the presets I have programmed and it will instantly move to that position then while watching TV (sometimes several minutes later!) the bracket will move itself back to a different position (the position it should have moved to when turned on).
It’s very frustrating and Vogel’s seem to be as puzzled by the situation as I am?
