It's baffling that most of our people will claim 1-3% native american heritage, which is pretty much insignificant, but won't claim anything Afrikan.

So, you are probably Trinidadian, Belizean or Guyanese. I could have included Suriname, but Surinamese people don't migrate to the US. You should also note the fact that if you remove the 28% of your DNA that is non African and focus on the African portion, you are almost 50% Nigerian.

Oh okay. I don't ever see African Americans with Asian (India and Pakistan) DNA. One of your distant African American relative must have married somebody from South Asia. And if you are African American with Nigerian DNA, it's more likely to be Igbo than any other tribe, especially if you are from Maryland, Virginia, Georgia and the Carolinas. Most Yoroba slaves were shipped to Brazil, Cuba and other Latin American countries. I'm sure, some were also shipped to the US. If I were you, I'll keep an eye on updates because some Nigerians have started taking DNA tests and are finding DNA matches in the Americas and vice versa.

Hey it looks like there as been an update on 23andme it’s well worth giving a feedback I did on the accuracy which was slightly off on my region of what they presumed me to be of recent people group , but I share similarities of that group but as through the Umbrella of Edoid group out of Edo Kingdom some 800 years now settled in the region I am from through different time periods of migratory routes out of Edo kingdom also known as Benin Kingdom not be be mistaken of Benin republic
