Gresini Racing Team Principal, Nadia Padovani, received a great honor because of the arrival of Marc Marquez at MotoGP 2024.
Gresini's surprises never seemed to stop after Nadia Padovani took over the team after Fausto Gresini passed away in February 2021.
Initially it was doubtful that they would continue their work in the world of racing, Gresini Racing actually rose to their golden age in the class of current kings.
The decision to join Ducati in a satellite team in 2022 has produced real results with a series of achievements that continue to come.
The record of always scoring wins in every season in the last two seasons has made Gresini chosen as the new port for Marc Marquez.
The crisis experienced at Honda made the eight-time world champion willing to lower his rank to become a satellite team racer.
Ducati's superiority meant that satellite team racers were able to finish in a higher position than racers from other factory teams, especially Honda, which was the caretaker.
For an independent team like Gresini, the presence of a racer of Marc Marquez's caliber was certainly never expected.
In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Nadia Padovani expressed her disbelief.
"For us this is a very important situation," said Padovani.
"It has never happened before that a figure like Marc Marquez, an eight-time world champion, decided to race for an independent team."
"It was an incredible challenge, moments that still feel like something unreal to me," said Padovani

I love that all the Marquez haters are going to have a horrible year. Marc could really solidify his greatness by helping his brother get 2nd. 1 2 for a satellite team, and brothers, would never be repeated.
Mark would barely solidify his greatness by crashing less than 20-times in a season. Which he has not done in 4-years now!

Get a human to narrate the video. The synth voice makes it unbearable. Even a human with some accent or not perfect English is better - and even gives the channel some unique character.
