đœ LINKS TO ALL THE GEAR đœ
Welcome to the first episode of: Streaming On A Budget!
In this episode, I gave myself a budget of $100 to build a cheap streaming setup.
This will include a budget microphone, budget light, budget webcam and a budget stream deck.
Instead of building a complete streaming setup like I sometimes do, I just went for the budget streaming gear people will be looking for. So whether you use a laptop or a desktop, you can just buy this stuff and it will work fine.

Leuke video man! Ik zag dat je Nederlandse instellingen hadđ
@@aronbaan363 even if i don't understand what you saying but sound interestingđđ
Ow sheesh hahađ
@@trendzshow5972 ow haha i saw you had dutch settings so i thoughr you were dutchđ never mind, cool video! Keep it up!
âLaptop users donât have numpadsâ
My laptopâs numpad: âam I a joke to youâ?
yeah mine too
Yeah mine too
some of gaming laptops have it
i think most gaming laptops have it
15.6 laptop have.. 14 inches don't
I really hate how underrated this channel is
I share your feelings! :'D
Thanks
I think the target audience is relatively small. I mean, not many people have interest in streaming. Maybe, if he creates content that has mass appeal, then, he would definitely grow at an exponential rate, like other creators in the platform.
@@SpryKirby I am considering moving more towards content like techsource, randomfrankp etc. Not sure if there are better example channels out there.
@@TheVideoNerd you could just reuse all the products u used in previous vids and squeeze them together to make a best tech under 50 kinda video, you might just be the next randomfrankp!
@@gavinpotter8741 I would be lying if I said I wasn't planning on doing that.. :)
With that kind of budget, maybe leave out the camera and concentrate on a good mic. But definitely keep the numpad as a budget stream deck
Or maybe include a solution where using your phone as a camera is an option.
@@Horizn how in the world would u do that
@@EnderBenn couple of different ways over either usb or WiFi.
Harris Heller has a good video for iOS devices.
I use Iruin Webcam on Android, works in OBS, which then virtual webcams for Zoom, Teams ect as well. đ€
@@EnderBenn I use iriun it can stream at 1080 p over wifi
Honestly, keep the lights, upgrade to the Razer siren and get rid of the numpad. Like someone else already said, use your phone as a webcam, it's probably better than most budget webcams anyway if your phone is good enough.
I have been searching for a streaming setup in cheap this is perfect
Great informative video, as always! That budget light comes in very handy. Keep it up!
I am new to streaming and spent many hours looking for the right setup and finding this vid has helped a bunch! Thanks!!!
This was great. Looking forward to your next video in this series!
Brooooo, words can't describe how good this video felt to me, sequels of this series are really eagerly awaited...Keep growing, love from INDIA
the sad part in amazon india we dont have much lighting option as the international website
@@razinmuhammed5770 exactly bro, not just lighting but camera and mic as well
Perfect now I can decide what to buy for my stream soon!
This was a perfect vid for my budget future setup :D
Glad it helped!
Yooow the external num pad is such a good idea!! Nice job my guy
Thanks for watching man
Another good option is the stream deck app! It's like 25$ for a full year subscription, and you can setup your phone or your tablet as a streamdeck, it has some connectivity issues at times but if you can get past that I've loved it!
THank you !!! great video! And some of gear is still helpful in many other ways outside of streaming. I was desperately looking for a good budget light.
Now searching for a green screen xD
This was awesome! Def do more of these!
This deserves 100k views, super helpful and super underrated!
Hell yeahđ„đ„đ„b waiting for this
*Another cool tuto for helping those who cannot afford expansive setups, and I like the idea to help those in needs đ*
Thx for the video i just needed a video about a budget streamers setup on a budget when i just opened youtube your video came first and i am buying the stuff you bought
The numpad is actually a really cool idea, I will for sure be adding that to my setup since stream decks are wayyyyy too expensive from what Iâve found
Another option is using a tablet or smartphone with an app. I'm using Touch portal and works pretty well too. It's free, and you can upgrade to pro for 15
@@47101352 I used to use a smartphone + app workaround a looong time ago when i was juuust starting, but every time the app or my phone updated or OBS had an update, it would all stop working, dont think i ever was able to get the app i was using to run again. then my phone broke, had to get a new phone... the phone + app isnt the most reliable solution in that sense that there's too many variables. but, if you have the time to be constantly setting things up or uninstalling and installing things and dont mind it, I say go for it, I'm just real impatient with that kind of issue I think and I just unravel when things start not working during a stream, I need a solid object with buttons that dont just disappear unexpectedly lol xD
what does the numpad do, what are its purposes?
Dude I'll take the lighting part....its really good btw nice video
Awesome! And Your Hairstyle Too!đ„
Next time you should add a part to the end where u use everything and act like ur streaming for a minute or two
Good work here. I like the style of what you're making.
ur channel is underrated bro, keep up the great work. you gained a sub.
Great content! This is really helping me out!
Please keep making videos like this I want to become a streamer and you are helping me so much !
the webcam part was very usefull. thank you!
Loved it thanks!
Loved the video! I need to improve a LOT ! Keep it up!
Definitely helped with my decision making for my purchases, thank you!
I won't be cheeping out on the microphone, and I'm already over 100$, but the stands and the light and the research you did helped me.
I got an Aukey web cam, 28$US
Is it me or do i like the look of the cheaper webcam more
its not jsut you
same, it looks nicer to me
Honestly yeah the cheaper one looks like a higher quality webcam
the c920 is like 9 years old and he didnt adjust any settings which makes a big difference.
Nope I am with u
Looking forward for more video. Thank you so much bro.
Depends where you are, the mics are on the same price and the Razer is available straight away here in Oceania. Its a no brainer đ
Mooi man thx voor de tips
Thanks for the Numpad idea!!
I have watched this like 4 times this is the best video that I have watched in years
That's absolutely amazing to hear! Thanks a lot
Very entertaining! Droped a sub
this channel deserves more attention :D
Ik wist meteen aan je accent dat je belg was en toen wist ik het meteen toen je in beeld zag 'deliver to belgium'. Nice video man keep up the good work!!
I'm going to love this series :D well done mate (zaterdag zuipen we erop)
I don't know what you're talking about man, I don't party, but thanks! :'D
Hahahahaha ik zuip wel mee ipv hem
Wow Ăool Man! Really loved it!
Glad to hear that! thanks for watching
This was an amazing video for a beginner.
I clicked on this video and I loved this guy and his accent and I also love videos like this and I subscribed
Wait your from Belgium? Damn man! great video
Thank you I have started to stream and upload because of u
WOW KEEP IT UP BRO!
You added to the budget a separate deck for using as a stream deck.
Do you think it could be possible to save that money by conecting an old USB keyboard to the laptop or it would cause the same issues you explained as if we were using the numpad of the laptop's keyboard?
More vids like that we want more budget alternative streaming setup
Great video, thanks
Fifine K678 is The mic that im currently using and it is even better itâs do clean
It has a nice mouse reduction
Mic gain, headphone volume, monitoring built in and nice full metal body
You are a really good creator. Fun to have a tech creator in belgium
Dank u!!!
FINALLY a budget video that is actually BUDGET
Dit is echt een underrated yt channel
Echt goede videos man
Please what camera do you use for creating your CZcams videos
nice video! you will be big one day, dont give up.
Thanks a lot man, I won't
YASSS, now I can finally start streaming!
DESTORY THAT FORTNITE CATEGORY
Gl with streaming!!
goodluck!
Funny part is that he wasnât sponsored by honey
yoo nice video, what programm do you recommend for editing videos?
DaVinci Rersolve 100%! It's free & it's just as good as premiere pro or final cut.
Leuke video man
u should try the BM-800 microphone its really cheap like 20-30 dollars and the quality of that is insane
I know you said you were not a fan of the first lights you found but I think the specific ones you clicked on come with some white panels to diffuse the light so that it isn't as harsh, so I don't think those would have been that bad, and it would be cheaper whilst also having 2 of them.
mine also came with a diffuser, which blocked a bunch of light and made them less bright.
But I definitely might be biased.. I did regret not buying both to compare
What wire do you want to give my phone screen to OBS?
jij bent zo famous en jij woont in belgie! keep it up!
What software were you using to adjust the camera quality?
Lol ik dacht door je accent dat je Duits was maar toen zag ik die web cam instellingen xD
I have only one thing to say amazing
is there a way mount a softbox light to desk clamp? đ
great video, a $250 budget would be a good next one imo
True! There's a bit chance that'll be it :)
Lesss go we both live in Belguim
Thank you man! I really can have some help now I am starting with streaming! I have 2 questions. Number 1: Is it worth buying a webcam or not? because I dont think it will make much difference, and like my face on stream XD. I am streaming on my laptop and I use the webcam of my laptop. I don't think its worth buying a webcam for me because I think if I will use a webcam ill use the one that's in my laptop. And number 2: How many games do you think you need to play if you want to grow on twitch? And which games would you prefer? (btw your from the Netherlands? I kinda thought by your accent).
Thank you for making this video, good sir.
It has really made me question whether to go ahead and buy a second-hand elgato stream deck for cheaper, but still quite... umm... a considerable amount... or whether to go with my initial idea that sent me into the stream deck rabbit-hole on eBay: external macro keyboards / keypads / numpads! I was about to press that "buy it now" button on a stream deck on ebay, when I thought: What would the Video Nerd do? xD I am not even joking, I literaly thought ok, wait, I better get a second opinion on YT and ofc your channel is the one I trust the most for advice (I say second opinion because I had been chatting about this with a friend who also streams and who was advising me if the prices I was looking at seemed reasonable - they're a good friend and a great up-and-coming streamer imo)
I'm not very good with numbers and not very good at keeping to budgets because my attention span sometimes just derails, so this video is very helpful. I have also shared it with said friend, btw.
I have the same mic and it's Hella good
Holy you really grow last time i saw you u get 10 likes or something and 200 vieuws
These new build videos are blowing up man, thanks for watching !
amazing
If you have an old laptop could it be used just to control streams?
What about a capture card? The one that most people seem to use are the elgato ones but they start at 200âŹ. I've seen people recommending cheaper options, it is confusing though how a 15⏠capture card can be a replacement for a 200⏠one.
Very good! now i only have to buy a pc..
wejoow een belg letsgooo
I have the fifine mic, its nothing special but it does the job and picks up every noise there đ
If you turn down the gain and move it closer to your mouth, it'll sound much better. Also play around with filters in OBS for an extra quality boost.
Other streamers: Lighting set up for 40 dollars
Me: Taking 10 torchlights worth 3 $ and being a big brain
3:48 the non changed settings of the emeet are way better then the logitech
Goat
good video
Nice
there are some mics from a company called maono, those are really phenomenal at the budget price they come at
True,
In fact I use it for my videos and I have to say I am very impressed with the quality.
Yes, I've heard of those! My friend has one, and as a Blue Yeti owner, I would say that some Maono mics are cheaper yet MUCH better
@@DiamondDepthYT Oh that is great!
Nice vid. Where are you from?
Please make a video on boom arms
@The Video Nerd can you make a video how to do reaction videos on CZcams with laptop and PC and what equipment you need than how to customise your screen on the video
I have the fifine k669 and by just adding a few filters it sounds almost as good as my friends more expensive mics
I heard about that mic and i think its pretty good. Ive been searching at other online shops and i saw that people are offering that mic with boom arm, clamp, and a pop filter.
And its cheaper somehow
@@itskarthek yea. you get the one just with the tripod or you get it with everything. Its not bad quality stuff either
@@Delsinn ikr its some good stuffs
What are the specs of the pc?
What monitor is that?
my streaming setup is at the max 250 including the monitor, pc, mouse, keyboard, and mousepad ( and everything else but webcam and mic)
That's just sick. 17K views but 1.1k likes. It ain't hard to click the like tho. I really enjoyed it.
Crazy right? Canât believe it. Iâm glad people are enjoying this content cause itâs fun to make
yele beard looking really cool lol
Haha thanks!
5 COMMENTS!! sick video. you should be much bigger
thanks!
Ik zag het alweer, jij bent Nederlands :)
