I have a small electric front loader, lift table, dump bed thing I am finishing up. There will now be 2 with plexiglass covers. Lol. I love your build kind Sir, I don’t know how much engineering went into the mechanical side of things but it looks pretty relatively perfect. The only reason I don’t say perfect perfect is because I’m sure you know, the options are endless when designing something and truly perfect is hard to comprehend. Thanks for the content
It's was quite a lot of trial and error, as I am not good at math. So it took me a lot of time to figure out where to mount the cylinder so that it get the max travel, especially the bucket. Travel vs Torque. Also the stupid drive chain was very annoying. Haha.
@beege1968 for the drive, i used two from an electric wheelchair for "large" people". And all the rams/actuators are electric as well, so no hydraulic pump motor. It is not as capable as this beautiful piece of machinery, but i can lift about 110 kg with the bucket. 180kg from the ground to its top deck with a crane. The dump bucket and lift tabke can handle more then i load it. And depending on soil, can move 220 kg.
Your amazing bro I’m not sure what type batteries you’re using but i recommend lithium iron phosphate they are heavy and they discharge and recharge for 3-4 thousand cycles and are fairly cheap. 👏 Gods has truly blessed you
Yes, electric drive would be better, however I could not find any cheap skid steer controller to have variable speed. Using wheelchair motor would work, but needs to find a wheelchair that can run 1000lbs. :)

Did you have any pressure problems on start up? I got mine to the point of driving. Basically the same set up as yours but gas motor. Just curious about how you went with the valve and hose routing? The relief on the Valve I have is confusing me
@@devildestiny555 no cylinders hooked up yet just the pump valve and motors. Did you have to bleed your motors at all? I’ve ran it a total of 45 minutes or so. I’ve got great flow going back to the tank and lines going to the motor but the motors are weak and my pressure gauge is not showing much
@@TRoutdoors2021 no bleeding, since it's a open loop to the tank. Just make sure there's no leak on high pressure line (pump to valve to motor) these hydraulic drive motor requires massive flow rate. So if the flow rate isn't enough and pressure is low, then it won't have power.
@@TRoutdoors2021 pressure guage won't show much because the motor drive isn't dead head like a cylinder would. The fluid always going in and out to rotate the motor. So pressure would only increase when you put the machine under extreme load. Say up hill or down hill.
@@devildestiny555 i have a little leak bit of leaking from the valve ports that are not being used yet. And getting great flow to the motors just not turning the wheels at all. They will turn if i move them first then they keep going. But do not start very well on there own. I have 9.8 cu in/rev motors and a .73ci pump that is rated for 10.5gpm and 3600 psi hooked to a 16 hp. Something is just not adding up or making sense. What you said makes sense and seems to be working the way you said but in my mind as soon as there is resistance on the motors they would turn and build some pressure from the pump to make more power than they are now. It’s like there is leak by on the motors or valve?

Using Honda Clarity battery, which are Lithium Ion, much better than cheap Chinese iron phosphate.

Pump is a unknown. Drive motor is a Danfoss 9cu.

You need to extend every cylinders to the max to fill all of it and remove all the air out. Not sure what your asking about on the hose routing?

What electric motor are u using
A 36v crown forklift motor.
Not bad price in Australia the hoses would be 3k alone
