I was always a poster boy of fitness and perfect 180 cholesterol. High carb "healthy "America diet. That didnt keep me from getting sick, fatty liver, blood sugar issues. About 4 years ago i switched to a low carb ketogenic animal foods based diet. I felt better within a few months and now 4 years later im feeling better then ever before !

great conversation between 2 of my OG's who helped me get back on the wellness path (after slacking off for about 10 years). i'm also lucky to have found a doctor who is familiar with low-carb diets and doesn't push meds. and luckily i don't need any thus far.

Australia is still promoting and pushing the low fat diet and the food pyramid in schools. Even fitness coaches are pushing low fat! It's unreal.

  • @danielwillover450

I eat a carnivore diet and I have been for the past 2 years. I get about six carbs a day. That's because I drink away protein twice a day that has three carbs in each serving. You don't need carbs

Also with NAFLD western doctors KNEW back in the late 19th C about the impacts of sugar on the liver and they also knew HOW to reverse it. Liver enzymes are still high for me but are falling significantly, doctor will only ask if I drink. No but it was years on low fat and high carb that made me sick. Even had a recent fitness coach tried to put me on low fat and high carb diet and I refused and asked to cancel. He is convinced I'm not doing things right and won't listen. It's infuriating that so called experts aren't updating and adjusting according to what research says.

This is excellent!!! Thankful for Dr. Diamond's work.

It's confusing for most people when we call bad oils seed oil. Should say all plant oils because all oils are cut with seed oils no matter what it says on the label.

I told my kids, sorry I didn’t die. My life insurance expired before I did . 🤣

Yes but the vegetarian that I knew she was only 36 years old and she did have sugar, and they went out for ice cream and all kinds of treats, but she ate salads like she was gonna have the last salad on the face of the Earth. she ended up with cancer and died from it at her young age. You can’t tell them anythingbecause they’ll never believe you some of them have come around but very few. I’ve been doing this way since 2018 and I’m never going back. The doctor tried to put me on statin and I rejected it.❤
