    Taylor Eigsti - Piano
    Marty Holoubek - Bass
    Yasushi Fukumori - Drums
Tune is called Caravan. I have no idea what this performance has to do with my crush being in the audience but it’s always great to hear Taylor shred it up.

I don't want to sound as snobbish as... some.. might... BUT you have to have at least some sense that this is a coherent piece of music. I don't believe you hear this as a random series of notes, and if you do, you should really study music it's awesome and so fun!

It's more about the energy, the rythm than anything else. Taylor is an incredibly gifted pianist and his approach to playing is a lot centered around the performance itself. Some might think it's too technicaly oriented. Well, that's for sure a way of playing largely influenced by all the fusion jazz era. It's like an "augmented" Chick Corea acoustic trio vibe. U like it or not. But the question of if it is meaningful or not is out of question. This is remarkably informed and historicaly rooted. hope it helps to understand
