Here we have yet another stunning Eddie Harris Solo Transcription displaying the genius of Eddie Harris from 1967 on Sonny Rollin's classic "Oleo". If you have already watched the "Giant Steps" video, then you might notice many common elements. If you haven't checked out the "Giant Steps" video, then do so! And, then compare them to each other.
The rhythm section is stunning with Melvin Jackson and Billy Higgins. And, the harmonic interplay between Eddie Harris and Jodie Christian is remarkable at this tempo!!
