He must had a lot of money back then because cars were expensive back then.

Prostitution is legal in many parts of the world (and some actually recognizes it as a professional with labor rights, etc). Which is almost always illegal is pimping.
Thatâs how it should be.
It's difficult to regulate an activity which is itself illegal. If prostitution is illegal, there's less disincentive to engage in prostitution while having an STD, or to use children as prostitutes. Plus, criminalisation means more money for criminals, and using jail space for an action which is not inherently evil (and is frequently only done as a last resort for the utterly destitute.)
So, not actually crazy.
Yea I can tell you pay for that đ±
As is nearly always the case, it is an American perspective... sigh.

There was a time, in Maryland, that it was legal drink, as long as you werenât over the limit, which at the time, was 0.15 for DWI, and 0.10 for DUI. An officer seeing you drink from a beer can was not probable cause to pull you over. You had to violate the motor vehicle laws, such as drifting over the lines, or even drifting back and forth within your own lane. Of course, running red lights and stop signs and all the usual other violations count as well.
Some studies showed that open container laws actually prompted more serious DUI cases. People who used to have a beer or 2 on the way home from work now went to a bar instead where they had more alcohol and actually went on to drive home more drunk than before.

Just realized that child labor did NOT come from parents not loving their kids. If you had a son it meant that you had another farm hand. For the country you live in it meant another soldier. Its what makes a man useful... and believe it! The young little guys WANTED to help and be like their fathers and defend their family. It's what boys want to practice because its what makes a man.
Child labor where they are being payed wages and those wages are taxed and garnished etc doesn't happen. Forced child labor is rare in history and its not normal society and no one is arguing that.
Thatâs not true. Many of the children in the industrial cities during the 1900s were orphans they had to work to survive. And others had to work because their families were poor.
@@COMPACTTVHD What Jericho is saying is there was pay for that labor, even though it was little.

Yes, but back then, the cars and trucks were so big, a collision would barely scratch them. My Dad owned a Ford station wagon. A VW Bug hit him behind, and the little thing was totaled. The Ford barely felt it.
Children worked in the USA, in those dangerous textile mills during the early 1900s and before..fingers and hands were lost in those huge looms. Kids didn't have to attend school even during the 1940s. So farmers were legally able to keep their sons out of school in order to work on the farm. Many male farm kids before 1940 were fully or partly illiterate. Those early cars didn't go very fast, so a drunk driving a model T at its top speed of 15 mph probably didn't cause much damage.
True also many kids were orphans in the early 1900s. They worked to survive because their parents abandoned them đą

You can legally drink at any age in Wisconsin as long as you are with a parent or guardian this includes at a bar
Yep, people do not believe me when I have told them that! Gotta love our Wisconsin! đ
Yes, this also includes a spouse if you are married to anyone of legal drinking age . For example a 19 year old married to 21 year old. I remember this being emphasized when I took my WI bartender's course years ago, however the bartender also has the option to deny service to anyone, without explanation. Growing up in Wisconsin, my parents set the their own minimum age @ 15 and it was a maximum of 1-2 drinks on special occasions only. No driving or other hijinks allowed at all
