Agreed, also in SA for 33 out of 34 years of life, if I didn't live here she makes you want to visit...but I can't remember the last time it looked that calm. It's always mobbed

Prohibition Kitchen is one of the best places to eat there in St. Augustine. We go there a few times per year (mostly when the tourists aren't there).

Was just there right after Thanksgiving! I love st augustine, and I'd like to live there some day soon. My oldest brother has been living there for 13 years. Can't wait to get there again

It has become even more touristy since I lived there in the early 2000’s. The tours on the trolley do look fun!

Love St Augustine! My 1st trip there, took a tour of Castille de San Marcos that was soo informative! Try searching for why they used coquina to build the fort. Hint: absorbs the shock of the enemy’s cannonballs! That fort was NEVER CONQUERED by battle! Great video & pics!
yay! finally a stop somewhere I have been multiple times! I never really found it to be overly touristy... I'm from Niagara Falls originally - now thats touristy! the Flagler College and City Hall buildings are some of the great highlights of the city for me. even more amazing at night with the seasonal lights. love the beach at the state park... really soft sand as I recall. I'm in Cancun now and ya its very odd experiencing Christmas here. I;m used to snow and cold, though not missing it one bit.
Haha so many fun take aways here. 1. Yay for being in Mexico for Christmas! So warm I'm sure. 2. St. Augustine is super pretty! Yes it's not overly touristy like i-drive or Niagara but definitely still felt a bit touristy to us. We love it either way though - Liz

I live in Jacksonville so I always go to Saint Augustine love it can’t get enough of it. You need to try the Columbia restaurant it is delicious they have wonderful thrift stores and consignment shops too. We go down for a day trip or sometimes stay at a bed and breakfast. .
I'm from St. Pete just a short drive from the original Columbia so I've been many times. It's delicious! But St. Augustine is such a great town.
We did a trip there last New Years. It was fantastic

Hello I have a question that doesn’t really pertain to this video but I can find the video that it does. I remember watching a video in the past when y’all had the momentum. In there somewhere y’all talked about storing the bunk ladders under the back bunk. We just purchased a momentum and screen somewhere to store the ladders. Do y’all remember the brackets or however y’all had them mounted under the bed?

I've only just discovered your channel but I've enjoyed your informative videos. St. Augustine is one of my favorite Florida cities and this time of year it's beautiful with all the lights. Since I've just started watching, I don't know if you've ever made it to Blue Springs State Park. This time of year the Manatee love to go into the springs for the warmer water. It's really worth the time to check it out if you have the time. Enjoy your time together and I'll just catch up on some of your older videos.

Just curious to know what days you filmed this as we were there Dec 23-29 and there were ALOT more people there than what I saw on your video. Still fun but for me, less people would have made it more so.

As usual, great video. How do you transport your Ebikes, since usually you have your motorcycle on the back of your RV? How do you like the Lectric brand ebikes? We have a similar RV and we’re thinking about folding ebikes.
These actually fold! If you have space for a rack on the back however that's the best option. They are heavier. And with limited bay space idk that they would fit in the bay folded or not. - Liz
I've seen folks fold them and place them in large storage tubs.
You would still need 2 people to get it through the RV door. But the tub handles should take a bit of the awkwardness out of it.
This will most likely be the way we do it, just haven't tried it yet.
Overall I really like the Lectric bikes. They are the lightest and most feature packed for the price point.

I lived there for 40 years. I love St. Augustine. My favorite is to go the 1st weekend in December. They do reenactments, have a great parade, and there's a candlelight parade at night.

Could be and if a thief wants something bad enough there's not much you can do to stop them.
We use a lock I originally bought for the scooter called Kryptonite "Integrated Chain".

We enjoyed St.Augustine this Christmas. The lights were beautiful. Hordes of people though. My favorite museum's were the Governor's House and Ximenez Fatio house. Did you visit Fort Mose ? How about that Alligator Farm, very cool. Oh the Lighthouse!
as someone who LIVES in st. augustine, it’s not all that.
Yeah we don't need to spread the word about this. Its already a mad house here. I work downtown and if you enjoy legions of people in tight spaces, come on down. I can't imagine how anyone would willingly deal with all the chaos. It sucks plain and simple. Do yourself a favor and avoid downtown saint Augustine. However, if you enjoy covid infestations...go for it
