Yeah the small ones are so slow. But do the job after lots of sand and time

turn the media on last and off first , it will never block again.

lenny 034 yes your correct on the way you turn it on and off but if you don’t have the correct end for your media it will block. Fine media can use small diameter but for the larger gritt the top will have to be replaced

i got a harbor freight 40 lbs pressurized tank and the bottom hose keeps plugging. I switched out the ball valve at my hand and took out the o ring as i saw on a CZcams channel. But when i turn on air it works good for about 5 seconds then it Plugs. It’s not the elbow or the ball valve under the tank because when i take the clamp and hose off it blows. I take the hose and put air to the tip and it blows out a lot of media. It’s fine black beauty so it’s not to big. Any suggestions??

Your problem is in the ceramic end, you need to replace it with one with a larger hole in center. I had same issue. That should solve your problem, but make sure you turn your air on first and slowly open the valve to release the sand until you see results on what your working on and once you reach your desired speed of paint removal leave the valve alone, don’t open it full speed but go get a different ceramic end.

I have one just like that and it keeps clogging up, going to try to remove that trigger mechanism and see if it helps

Maybe different media might help with the clogging ? Usually I use garnet for steel and 100% crushed glass for aluminum
