No panel bond? I was always told that these types of builds are glued together, panel by panel and then spot welded. By not using the panel bond, isn't this thing going to rattle like hell after some time? Maybe I'm not informed properly, but I'm curious. This is an absolutely amazing project and I think you're doing a great job, so please don't take my curiosity out of context.
@@_CryptoNoob_ I am not against using panel bond but if you do you it then you don’t have to weld the panel, lots of shops are using that rather than weld
@@1194video ahhhh I understand now, thank you for the clarification. I'd like to commend you on your decision to just build your own rather than try to sift through the multiple scams and hacks that guys do to these old beauties in order to maximize profits on the sale. Marvelous. This scale is large 1/12 and there are no opening parts. There are smaller models that are much more beautiful and detailed than this one. Why didn't they do it?

these are called "kit" cars they are not original.
@@Stromn83 you are wrong, kit cars are replicas not reproduction. And I have already had the state inspect it and give me a vin number and title to a 1967 mustang not a kit car. I’ve built kit cars and the titles always say kit makes on the title

@@SteveMirabelli Thankyou so much for leaving the kind words, I am truly blessed I was able to have him in my life for the time I did.
You have to change the Hrz. settings on the camera.. Whatever it is, change it from that because it's clashing with your lighting badly.

@@TheTruthBeToId what where you expecting
Cant you just buy a title from someone for the make and model you have and get a vin plate made?
@@H00K-KING that’s illegal
That is just a SHITLOAD of money for ill fitting China sheet metal sorry to say. Sheetmetal is cheap, that's why factories use it. It's like lemon meringue...getting something outta nothing. I've watched a ton of videos on this subject and everybody has to tweak and tweak and fucking tweak...what a goddam waste of time for 10k spent. I also see nobody bonding stuff together as a more modern take on assembly. But if your panels have to be massaged that much it would be risky to bond any of it. Thanks for making the video cause you talked me out of it even though I have spot welders of all kinds and a 67 fastback shell to measure from and a lifetime of autobody experience. Good luck with your project.
