      They are both adults n independent now. It does not matter who watches or not. They cant be such a rat, scary goat at this age. Indians please grow up. Dont over do it like finding bf n gf when you are still in high school. Once you enter university it's good to find a decent companion S it will ground you and make you more responsible.
      If you flirt n waste time looking for love during schools days, you are bound to fail in life forever, especially for girls you will lose your reputation, your families, and your dignity n self worth.
      So ladies out there, be careful from very young age.
      EDUCATION is your saviour, and pride of your family.

The thing is its a whole different world from being someones girlfriend or boyfriend to being their wife or husband. some people are not ready for that and it ends in a divorce. Not trying to prove arranged is better but if look at the statistics, 4% of arranged marriage end in divorce compared to 35% of love marriages.

    1. Lots of photos are showed to the Guy and Girl - this is the first stage of rejection
    2. If the guy and girl like the photo, next stage is Checking the zodiac compatibility
    3.if both the people like each other in photo and their zodiac compatability happens, now they will agree to meet directly and here the next rejection happens
    4. Final stage is both the families should be liked ie the family should be a respectable one, here too rejection happens.
    5.if all these things happen then the so called ARRANGED MARRIAGE happens

      Mariama Sowe yes arranged marriages gives us a previlege to talk in person as would-be couple. The girl or guy has right to deny the offer.
      Earlier India there was custom called SWAYAMVARAM where girl can choose any boy in an open hall upon her choice.
      Girl had complete freedom to choose. The boys would say "I am king" "I am warrior" etc to attract girl and introduce himself.
      The boy's qualifications would still be filtered by girl's parents before that event.
      It happens in high profile marriages like princess wedding
      Now same format adopted by modern day marriage beaureau

      I still find arranged marriages interesting. I have an Indian friend who was forced into the arrangement (she’s quite submissive and accepted it easily) but I have a friend who didn’t want any arranged marriage unless she knows them for a specific amount of time. I also heard of my other friend’s sister (Pakistani) who got introduced to a candidate (idk how to explain 😂) and after getting to know each other, they decided to be married. So yeah I feel like I have learned two sides of arranged marriage.

      Mystearicia if she was forced into the arrangement then it's a forced marriage and idk about Indian culture but in Islam if there's any kind of emotional, social, familial guilting or any kind of coersion then the marriage is null and void. Bride has to publicly announce 3 times that she, of her own will and accord, accepts the man as her groom (unless she's the one who proposed to him)

      If you are in ‘love’ then you already know each other. Then how is it ‘arranged’? By ‘arranged’ people actually mean ‘approved’ by parents. It is this filmy misconception that most people have that just because a couple fell in love then the parents won’t approve. And only marriages arranged by parents are approved by them. Not everyone’s parents are so small minded. Most love marriages happen with the blessing of the parents.

So yes, I do agree, especially in the rural areas it is hard to get out of an abusive marriage for various reasons. But you'll also see many women who stay in abusive relationships in the west.

      80-90%, that’s accurate..considering the fact that there are 1 billion indians in india. Most marriages in India are arranged. Accept it lol. Plus some parents are starting to become open to the idea of a love marriage as long the guy/ girl comes from a good family/caste, good job, wealth etc.

    My marriage was arranged. But that was the most beautiful, sacred thing that happened to me . Romance started with no ifs or buts. The trust and warmth between us was on a different level. There is some charm in it when we know that parents blessings are involved!! ❤️❤️
    The best part is grandparents always want to spend time with their grandchildren and always are strong unit of family.

Our generation loved our parents, looking them so happy gives me everything in my life and also I got the best partner

      @prachipandey578 Před 6 lety +77

      Zarkow You are partially correct, but we give our best saving relationships and in the modern day scenario, it's not a taboo. Even if there are problems in a relationship, we find out solutions rather than just saying- ' Oh! I want a divorce.' Also even if it a taboo for some, it has helped our culture in more ways than one.

      Celisar1 studies actually show arranged marriages last longer than regular marriages that stem from love DUE TO THE FACT that in arranged marriages, both people are forced to make a commitment and make that choice to make it work. A lot of them (like my parents) find love along the way, and stay in love for a longer time. It's all about the choice of staying and making the marriage work that makes it last so long :) hope that helps! My parents didn't meet until the day of the wedding, they have a wonderful marriage and are in love!!!

    • @ZarkowsWorld
      @ZarkowsWorld Před 6 lety +18

      Irina Zia >> I have no doubt your parents have to come to love each-other as one loves a brother and sister, but the REASON they are FORCED (your own word) to 'work on it' is due to the TABOO and risk of being a social OUTCAST if going through a divorce. Let's not kid ourselves here.
