As another Aussie I never followed any of Angeâs teams apart from the national side but as a long term Celtic fan I was rapt when he got the job. Heâs solid gold folks, genuine, intelligent, loves and knows football better than almost anyone and humble to boot with the right values. Respects the game, his players, opposition teams and the officials. A great man.

Martin was loving it and clearly wanting to show his appreciation at the end for everything Ange has and is doing with the football club. Praise indeed!! We're in good hands and I do feel Ange wants to stick around and re-pay the faith Celtic showed in bringing him here. There's no doubt he sees Europe as the next level and I hope the board truly back him this summer in the transfer market because we have a very special guy at the helm who has proved he can turn a million pound player into a 10m player in 18 months. What a time to support the hoops!

As a Brisbane Roar member, I have watched his progress with great enthusiasm (particularly as Celtic has been my âchosenâ Scottish club for 40 years). He came to Brisbane, from relative obscurity, kicked out a lot of dead wood, changed our style of play and did some very clever recruitmentâŠin a very short time, he took us from a club that was going nowhere, to being Champions AND playing a style that was fun to watch!

A Mourinhoesque performance...Ange wouldn't have covered up and defended like that a year ago .....Ange's style has always been to score and score more and damn the consequences (which I love)...but in games like this where desperate opponents throw haymakers for 45 minutes, dive in..try to hurt your creative players (some filthy challenges on Kyogo, Hatate and Iwata) and have everything to lose, you just can't lead with your chin...he's really evolved over the last year which bodes well for the UCL.

I am proud and amazed to see Ange's development from player to coach of a club with European pedigree. It takes a long time. I remember his struggles when he was Australian youth coach, and the flak he was copping from the local media, particularly Craig Foster, who is now one of his biggest acolytes. Someone like Lampard should take a good, hard look at himself, do the badges, work with youth and then revisit working for a big club, if he ever gets employed again.
Maeda was anges main man in Japan. Games like this show why.

The difference between this man and Beale is staggering. And Iâm not saying that to get a rise out of any Rangers fans on here. Ange quite rightly mentions Rangers players by name when talking about the threat they pose, he spoke up the achievements of Rangers last season getting a Europa League Final. He was seen sharing a coffee with GVB and Ross Wilson last year, while also wising Rangers all the best in the final. Compare that to Beale who refuses to name opposition players by name, chucks the previous Manager under the bus whenever he gets the chance and refers to Ange as âluckyâ. Iâm not surprised weâve got Rangers fans on here commending Ange, Iâve got the same thing to say for GVB. But itâs just so tasteless seeing how Beale conducts himself. I mean the man got sent off from the touch line when he was a coach so that says it all. What GVB did with a Rangers side that was effectively built by Gerrard and Beale was amazing. He shouldâve been given a full summer. Theyâre further behind now than where they were when he was there. Iâm just delighted we have the Big Man running the show for us. We do our talking on the pitch. Rangers should do the same but I donât see that happening with Beale in charge. The man oozes egotism

Ange turned the ship around in weeks at Celtic and then backed himself with players that he knew would perform. He never threw anyone under the bus. I remember players like Maeda and Starfelt being criticized as being useless. Rogic was playing with one lung etc. Ange can definitely get the best out of a group of players and make them play better and as a unit.
