These are great. Memphis has had such strong Peaks and Valleys. What gives Memphis its unique personality are these energies and what gives Memphis its Potentials lie in its ability to "do it the Memphis way + the ever forward momentum towards achieving its higher minded harmony".
I see Memphis in Success, achieving a bonding of its Peoples, a uniting through neighborhood, through Passions, the shared focus on the Social, Educational, Arts, Music, and Sports.
The Community that achieves realization of the Higher Mind's value and recognized that all the undesired is the result of the Lower or Ego Mind, where the negatives: fear, judgemental, insecurities, prejudices, envy, arrogance, ... the attitude and expectations of the cycles of us in our in our Ego Mind allowing for the few to manipulate the masses.
    Empathy, Compassion, Harmony, Happiness ...
A seed of Memphis with certainty in each.

The Y.M.C.A. building shown c.1905? It's a little hard to believe since it opened on October 27, 1909. President Taft came to the grand opening.

To even question the narrative or timeline will get you labeled crazy or the two words I won't even type out. I agree with you. In my home City of Philadelphia, Pa, the evidence is everywhere in Center City. The Museum of Art is massive and looks Roman or Greek. All of the Old Churches are built like works of art all in themselves. None of it has been in the modern times. Everything built in my lifetime is just put together quick and cheap. I am left with so many more questions rather than answers. Best of luck to you in these unprecedented times. Whatever is fast approaching all of us seems to be much more than a down economy. The feeling of uncertainty is in the air. I hardly even recognize the city I have called home for over four decades when I walk around. Subversion is effective and takes a hold of a population quick. We The People funded this monster government. We the people are fools, me included.

The city wasn't founded until 1819.
