    HOW I SHARE THE GOOGLE DRIVE LINK WITH CUSTOMERS - I didn't mention this in the video 😏...The PDF you see in the Google folder is the PDF that I upload to Etsy as the product that my customers received. The PDF directs them to my Google Drive folder as well as a bunch of other stuff (directions, etc.). Let me know if you have any questions 😁.

    • @passiveincomewithkaren
      @passiveincomewithkaren  Před rokem

      My apologies for the delay in my response. I'm not 100% sure what you're asking but I'll give it a try. When you click on 'share' in Google drive from whatever folder you want them to have access too, be sure to select 'viewer'. Therefore, anyone with that link can view the folder and download individual items. IF you want to see what people will be able to see, go into incognito mode and enter the link you're sharing. That will make you feel more comfortable that you're not giving them access to other items in your own Google drive account.
      Per your second question, I don't provide editing access so I'm not sure about that. I'm sure there's a CZcams video somewhere that would explain 😊. Thanks again for your patience.

    • @passiveincomewithkaren
      @passiveincomewithkaren  Před rokem +1

      How did you eventually stumble across it. Just wondering what you typed into search and I'll add those keywords :). No, you will only share the exact folder you want them to VIEW. Then, you can always check out the link you're sharing in incognito mode just so you feel comfortable knowing they are only getting access to the exact file or folder they purchased. I have since started using Dropbox and honestly, it's better but it has a fee. Google has a fee eventually for additional space but it's still cheaper.

      @@passiveincomewithkaren I hope you see this comment. Or question. What do you mean drop box has a fee? Where does it say or are you saying it has a fee because you needed more storage? And why is Dropbox better than Google drive? I found this video by looking for how to upload digital stickers to Dropbox. I just really didn’t know how to go about this. Possibly will open a shop doing stickers and different artistic things but for now I just help people out and needed to learn how to do this.

    • @passiveincomewithkaren
      @passiveincomewithkaren  Před rokem

      @@triggeredlatina sorry for the late reply. I believe dropbox is free until you need more storage and perhaps some advanced features. I moved from Google Drive to Dropbox because my customers where having a very hard time downloading from Google drive regardless of how good my directions were. Some still struggle with dropbox but it's only when they don't follow my directions.
      When you sell bundles, like I do, it complicates the downloading process. When someone purchases a single planner for instance, they never have problems downloading from Dropbox or Google Drive. Does that help?

    Thank you for this video.
    I have a quick question.
    I recently sold my first digital product on ETSY. Payment i have received But the buyer hasn’t received the files yet. When he clicks on the download files it’s showing nothing and saying your order will arrive on 11th may. I mean hows that even possible. When it’s digital one not physical product.

    • @passiveincomewithkaren
      @passiveincomewithkaren  Před rokem

      Congrats on your first order. That’s awesome. There are times when digital download customers don’t set up an Etsy account or use a different email address than they thought they did and therefore, don’t have access to the files. This is what I typically send them…
      1️⃣ ACCESSING YOUR PURCHASE
      A. If you purchased on the Etsy app, please sign into your Etsy account on a mobile browser (i.e. Safari, Chrome) to access the download option.
      B. Please see this Help Page for more info, www.etsy.com/help/article/3949.
      If that doesn’t work, I ask them to get back to me and I just send them a direct link to the files.
      With regard to why it shows a date of arrival, check your account to make sure you don’t have shipping listed as an option. Otherwise, contact Etsy to find out what’s going on.
      Hope that helps!

    • @passiveincomewithkaren
      @passiveincomewithkaren  Před 2 měsíci

      This would be a good research question, perhaps ask AI and see what you get. That being said, my understanding from using copyrighted material in mix media art and selling it (something I had a passion for 10 years ago) is that it had to be over a certain number of years old. I want to say 80-100 but I could be way off on that. Plus, if you do sell it, be sure not to use ‘Barbie’ anywhere in your listing because that is a trademark and could get your shop shut down. Plus, it’s just not legal to do. Does that help?

      Not only does this work great but my customer reviews are so much better now that I have my products housed in the hub with tutorials and product tours.

      Unfortunately in the digital world, there is a risk of that. One way to make it more difficult is to host your links in a customer hub by using a course platform like Teachery. Then people have to sign into Teachery and you can be notified as to who has signed up and verify they are a paying customer. People could still download and share but honestly, while I’m sure it happens, I think it’s rare unless someone is going to try and steal and resell. Here’s the link to Teachery if you want to take a look - www.teachery.co/?a=bEeqbp2g.
