  • JP interviews Tina Sharkey, co-founder of young e-grocer 'Brandless'. Their goal is not, NOT being a brand. But rather to change the way in which a brand connects to consumer, is designed and sold. For the classic models creates what they call a 'brand tax' while their direct model allows for the 'democratization of goodness.' Genius or savvy business modeling and marketing? the concept of "Brandless" is kinda similar to the Japanese "MUJI" brand??

You could say that - as far as the idea of 'brandless,' affordable items with minimalist-modern design goes. The business model is different, though with Brandless only on e-commerce and $3 price point and Muji having been in retail business and around the world for decades.
