Every other brand copied iphone notch and gesture navigation and even ditched the jack , not a apple fan but credit where credit is due , apple will realese small or no notch once tech is ready until if you want to be a guinea pig for tech companies with their pop up camera and dual display go for it .
The only time i thought notch will interfere was with watching video but soon i realised that all content i watch is 16:10 .

2014, 2015, 2016: 6 design
2012, 2013: 5 design, although the change from the 4 design to the 5 design really isn't as big as 5-6 and 8-X, so it's basically from 2010-2013. Nothing new, it's just a strategy that's worked this entire time. Everyone said the same thing when they released the 7 while Samsung dropped the S8 a little while later before the X came along with the (in my opinion) better design that still holds up alright in 2019. I'm sure they're going to make iPhone 2020 a large improvement in design.
