As a low carber from way back- (I read and actually used the old school Atkins diet book) I SO appreciate your explaining the âlittle bit of sugar and dextroseâ in the đ„ bacon!!
I get so annoyed with the super sleuths and carb police always pushing these minor differences when what thatâll ultimately get is a newbie who gives up after 5 days. If they can just give up their basic crap theyâve been shovelling down all their life and switch over to a general low carb induction level for a couple weeks and survive it, they are golden- the rest they can start to discover, learn and get more picky. They can educate themselves on the fats, good and bad and what allowables they decide will be okay and whatâs non negotiable.
But I watch so many just give up because theyâre not lookin at the big picture first.
Matt's energy in this video is amazing. He seems so excited over every find but I know he was just excited about the baby coming! Love watching your videos.

We only have Sam's near our house so we go there a couple times a month. I'm so proud y'all picked up ALLLL of my favorite things in this video!! The bag of Havarti and Gouda cheese is my favorite! đ
I love how realistic you guys are, I donât worry about the sugar in bacon either if itâs less than 2% doesnât make any sense to.
If you want the best results and fastest possible... it doesn't hurt to minus out hidden carbs when ever possible.

You can lose weight on almost any diet. You can eat a Cheesecake Factory diet and possibly lose weight. I mean if you can intermittent fast, don't have blood sugar issues, and do a round of full fasting every now and then... You can eat almost anything and lose weight depending on a few other factors.
I'm not discouraging you from eating bacon. My comment is just that if something happens, look at reducing hidden carbs, and see if anything changes. It's probably fine, but I dunno a 600 pound post menopausal, 50 year old Iraqi woman might have to change their hidden carbs and see what happens. That's the point I"m trying to make. For a small subset of people, hidden carbs MIGHT hurt you. They can actually round 1.9 down to 1.0 carbs. They do NOT have to round up.

Samâs Club is stepping up their keto. I always leave feedback to add more keto. My favorites- pork rinds, coconut oil, Peetâs coffee, almond butter, ribeyes on quick sale.

I just started working for a 3rd party that does demos at Sam's Club. Some of the demos say "Keto Friendly" like Old Wisconsin Turkey sticks.
Wish they didn't use carageenan but they're actually pretty good. Sold like 40 packages at $14 a package that demo.
if only there was like a 5% for every product sold during your demo time. Oh man I would be like 2x more motivated and my boss already loves my motivation.

@@terydog Problem is when I go to Sam's Club like the Atkins Bars will say "Keto Friendly" or something, and then it'll be Maltodextrin raises blood insulin, maltitol, raises blood insulin, corn fiber, corn starch, wheat flour, wheat starch, bad shit #5, 4 kinds of Omega 6 oxidized, crap for you oils, and not a bit of Collagen to be found.
So... yeah... I know they didn't sticker it specifically, but those products are terribad. I'm almost considering running around and Ninja'ing some "Healthy Keto" stickers on things like Pickles, Bullet Proof products, lol.
I've tried Sam's coconut oil, and the unrefined Trader Joe brand tastes much better, if you like the taste of coconut, and is $5-6 and lasts me 1-2 weeks.
Diet Ice-Tea and Sam's bottle water. 5 cases a month. :D There is also bacon that you didn't show that they carry. Thick-cut slices applewood bacon. Heading to Sams later to have a bunless hotdog and unlimited Diet Dr. Pepper; Don't judge me. Then I'll shop.

@@jameslucas5590 unfortunately when you look into recycling you find that it isn't being handled well. It's definitely better to limit the individual bottles. I keep a case for company but generally I use a filter or at least gallon containers.

That's why I stick with Chosen foods or Primal Kitchen (I like the flavor of Chosen food a bit more). They are the only two that I know of that are made with pure avocado oil. The Costco near me has Chosen foods at a really good price.

LOVE Sam's Club!! I'm single, so I bought a foodsaver. I divide the cheeses, sausages, and LOTS of stuff, to freeze well at home. They also have good egg choices, and buffalo hot wingsđ!! My fav snack is Dukes beef sticks, and our Sam's has Quest bars. Thanks for this great videođâ€

Avocados!! They are so big and they always ripped beautifully. Itâs about $5 for 6 but so big and great quality!

Besides the almond flour and coconut oil I also get my Philly cream cheese there. I also buy Parmesan cheese and grate my own for making my own parm crisp.
I get my parm and grate it too and I use the seasonings to make different flavors... last week it was "everything bagel" this week it is Mediterranean

Yes Costco has organic Grassfed (and finished)...ground beef - my brother is the Manager/Head butcher at Costco in Atlanta- heâs been there for 28 years and does keto like me!

Y'all should look for a local farmer. My dad is a cattle farmer who grows his cows better than organic. He grassfeeds entirely, and he supplements his cows with organic minerals. They are moved to fresh pasture every few days. I'm not trying to sell his meat because he doesn't ship, but just using it as an example. You can buy 1/4 cow or more at a time. Every pack is vacuum sealed, so it never freezer burns. Seriously, it lasts forever! He can package it how you want so there's no food waste. So, if you want 1 lb or 2 lb of ground beef or stew meat per pack, he can do that. When you average out the cost, you get prime rib, filet mignon, etc. for basically the cost of ground beef. Plus, I know that my meat is from ONE cow, not 100's mixed up from different countries. It is spectacular! I can't stand to buy store meat since buying his. I really don't trust big stores and companies to be honest about what's fed or given to the cows. I can look a farmer in his face and ask questions, as well as tour his farm. Far better, in my opinion.
I wish there was one close to where I live. The Sa'ms Club is under 20 miles at least.

Sam's club near me had these dried shirataki mushroom 'crisps'... So dang good. Just a little strange to be eating a whole crunchy dried mushroom, but still. Pretty great.
I just bought the chicken meatballs. So freaking good. They do have dextrose though so I limit them.
For keto I get raw pecans. I add melted butter, salt and monk fruit sweetener then roast in the oven.
They have a large block of cream cheese at a good price. Also raw cheddar cheese. Organic chicken skin on, ground bison, and lots of organic greens and zucchini and fresh green beans.

I hate Miracle Whip. Only time I'll eat it is if it's used lightly in a tuna fish sandwhich, with cheese, dipped in a hot Tomato Bisque. It's pretty good that way.

Love boiled peanuts! You can make them in the crockpot. Fill crockpot with raw peanuts, water and 1/4 cup of salt. Then cook for about 6 hours đ

Costco in northern California has 100% Grass Fed frozen hamburger patties.

Individuals can become more of an ingredient detective once they've spent a fair amount of time changing their lifestyle. That makes it far easier to stick to the changes long-term. Great job.

Great video. Several of my choice favs at Sam's are the pork rinds, kerrygold butter, cheese, and that organic grass-fed ground beef. I also get the lacroix and san pelligrino waters. They also have a great large container of organic spring mix for less than 4bucks.

Like the precooked bacon, parmesan crisps, the pulled pork, the cooked pork chops, and bacon bits I have bought from there. That almond butter is awesome too. I feel happy and it's confirmation that I had made the right choices of getting keto items from Sam's club. The only two items from their produce I have bought are the cherry tomatoes and double pack of English cucumbers. I had bought lettuce and it went bad very quickly like in days. But great place for bulk keto. đ
