really nice, sold my savotta xl and now i'm going for the vulcan IV from berghaus to see if it fits my needs better. did you contact berghaus about the side pocket straps who failed or do you just accept it? i hope berghaus is the one, if not i'm saving up for a mystery ranch blackjack 100 - i'm not really into spending almost 2k€ for a rucksack but i have to try it in next couple of years if the vulcan won't do it

Oh I think the berghaus packs are more comfortable but it stays a 'tactical pack' :P I've never contacted berghaus, a friend of mine also mentioned it but I don't really think that newly sewn parts will perform better than the current ones. But I don't know if i will change my mind in the future about this topic. I'm curious about what your experience is going to be with the Vulcan. And yes, the overpriced backpacks aren't my thing either. Paying for quality is good, paying way to much for a brand, just hurts xD.

How big are your sidebags? 10 or 15 liter?
