- Welcome to Colombia! This is not only a new country for me but also a new continent! Today we're going deep into the heart of vibrant Cartagena in search of the best traditional street eats. Starting things off at the hectic Bazurto Market. You can find everything here including exotic meats I've never seen on a menu before. After a morning of snacking at Bazurto Market we head into the heart of Cartagena's old walled city to continue our food tour. Arepas, shrimp cocktails and more... Colombia is a food paradise!

This time I saw a fruit I had never seen before, that banana passion fruit looked more attractive than ordinary passion fruit!
Their food looks delicious, except for that Armadillo Stew and the turtle, Mamma Mia, you are so brave!

Wao que energia la de Bazurto. Que cantidad de frutas. Uno de mis jugos predilectos el Lulo. El almuerzo se veía muy bien excepto por el Armadillo ya que son especies protegidas. Saludos Luke..🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉. Y bueno del anterior video también el arroz con coco es una de mis platos favoritos.

La semilla de adentro del corozo es como un coco muy pequeño. Esto es lo que se suele consumir del corozo. La semilla del centro. Hay que romper la pequeña esfera para sacar el corazón del corozo.
4:57 in the Philippines we call it duhat and we sprinkled it with rock salt to counter the sour taste. It's delicious if its ripe however it can stain your clothes if you are not careful
6:07 we call it chico in the Philippines and its delicious however it smells like arm sweath 😅 or the smell is like someone's drunk from alcohol
maybe is a similar fruit but, what you call duhat is different than colombian corozo (Acrocomia aculeata) which is an american plant... maybe spaniards took it to Asia as well as asian fruits came to America...
That first stall you ate at(with all the weird meats), and the story with the dude getting his arm cut off had me scared LOL. I can tell you werent enjoying some of the foods in this video, and its ok to let people know if something isnt good.

Please DO NOT eat that. You are risking exposing yourself to leprosy!! The armadillo may be infected w it and you won’t even know it. Please stay away from it. I know many of my fellow Colombians specially the people on these kind of markets would say that’s not true but science says otherwise. They are totally oblivious to the dangers of it
