ChatterBox - New Prototype! Off-Grid Secure Mesh Texting over LoRa

The ChatterBox is an off-grid secure "texting" device that lets you communicate like texting with other ChatterBox devices in your "cluster". ChatterBox can send directly from one device to another (no internet, cell, or other service of any kind). By "meshing", the ChatterBox is able to deliver messages longer distances by securely "bouncing" messages off other devices in your cluster until it reaches where it needs to go.
All messages are encrypted (using either asymmetric or symmetric encryption, depending on the type of message), timed, and signed, ensuring your messages cannot be read by anyone else, and that you can trust the message is from who it says it's from.

Hello Matthew. I am very glad for your success! Have you tried optimizing the antenna path as I suggested? I think that alone would go well beyond the 7.5 miles you've reached. But here's a new suggestion: a removable dielectric cap to cover the little antenna you're using. This measure will reduce the influence of foreign objects and the human body on the antenna adjustment due to accidental touches.

@@Aleks-xl5rn Yes, that was an excellent suggestion and I have incorporated it. I have not distance tested since doing so. Thanks for that and this other suggestion, which I will look into. I am also looking at possibly creating a t-deck version of the software, as someone else suggested.
