This movie is coming out on the same date as Superman Legacy; these two films could become the next Barbenheimer, #SupetasticFour. I'm thrilled to see HERBIE make his official debut, and overall, I really like this cast. I think they got a really talented group of actors to play Marvel's First Family and hopefully really do justice to the team that Fox couldn't. However, my only concern is if this movie is indeed set in the 60's, then how does this time period/setting and eventual time jump affect characters like Alicia Masters and especially how they will handle Doctor Doom in the MCU since he's been done dirty in live action every time. He is Marvel's greatest villain for a good reason, so I really hope if Doom was around during the '60s, then will they still adapt the character's epic back-story from the 'Book of Doom' comic, or will they do something new that could potentially hinder the characters potential to become one of the greatest cinematic villains.

So my concern is how they are going to shoe horn the fantastic 4 into the MCU continuity. Especially when you consider that Iron Man seems to be the first publicly known super hero. If the fantastic 4 were around in the 60s why was there never any mention of them existing in any MCU film? They dont exactly stay in the shadows. They have a damn building with a giant 4 on it. So many questions to be answered. Im still very excited for this.
As there's no mention of them in current MCU id assume it may be in another universe. Maybe the same universe as Beast. Or based on the assumption that its a movie in the past, they may have got stuck in quantum realm early in their career until recently, which would explain their sudden appearance and would be nice to further explore the quantum realm as Kang has been there for some time. Just my own speculation but of course knowing MCU it may not be true lol. They have some questionable decisions even in good movies

That's why all our heroes are in the same period. For 2, this means either the F4 members don't team up with other current heroes later on down the line, or the Mcu is going to create a way that feels forced for them to come to the future. 3rd, it doesn't fit the theme of F4, really. Reed's whole deal besides his powers is that he's smart ASL. He and he's really the leader of the group. He definitely doesn't benefit from a time that doesn't even have the technology needed to make Tony's mark 1 armor. His intelligence want be on display compared to people like Shuri, Bruce, and Tony.
