Look forward to you getting the press car and hearing what it's like to live with. Hope you will give us some indication on fuel consumption and running costs bearing in mind it's a family car as well as a sports vehicle. Would find it hard to justify 80K plus for an X3 even if it does smell wonderful. Great proffesional content as usual.Thanks.

Bought mine today. Used both your reviews to help. 6 weeks ago Nearly bought the M2C, not practical for me. Looked at the new 1 series at the same time. Got a call yesterday from BMW, come and have a look. Loved it. Has everything I want. Good deal on PCP. A lot of car for what I’m paying. Phytonic blue.
Andrew pringle decided to go for the Alpine white with Sakhir Orange leather, was in the showroom and just looked out of this world against everything else in there. Collect it Monday. PCP deal was too good to turn down.

BMW have produced an amazing SUV in this Joe, it's funny but putting you in a great new BMW is like seeing a kid in a sweet shop 😀 you look very happy 👍🏻 but yea I think alot of ppl will be looking forward to you driving this in 2 weeks, I've come away from SUV's now but if I'm honest this sort of car could tempt me back.. will be Interesting to see the roll on this when going around corners etc.. the acceleration sounds Insane 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Does this rev counter go the “right way”? Think BMW have dropped the ball in trying to reinvent the wheel. There again the veh looks stunning and as good as the Stelvio is I think a lot of people will prefer BMW quality and tech.
Just bought one of these with almost 25% off list price....pcp 639 15kmiles 4year plan 5k down 2.9apr with a great spec. Comfort pack, heated seat front rear, adelaide extended interior, pan roof etc etc
Yeah insane deals for past few weeks as BMW UK haven't sold any, think Tony is now doing for £549 a month with £2500 down on nicely spec X3M Comps
@@JoeAchilles1 with the price this low and coming from the M4 Comp (that I bought following your excellent back to back with the B4s) I can overlook the foibles. The suspension to me wont be so bad coming from the M4 comp I'm guessing??😬 ...And low down torque in high gear is a shame. My guess is they got slated for having too much torque in the s55 coming in at 1800rpm a causing traction issues that they have upped peak torque to 2600rpm to combat it.... although its less of an issue on a 4x4 so as I say, bit of a shame but will adapt my driving style.

The problem with this engine is that the connecting rods are not forged and they come from the f90 M5 and they are not all that strong... so to me the isn’t forged connecting rods are a weak point in an engine

Please look at the lens not the top screen.
For the regular X3 OS 7.0 is already available, starting from production date 27 June. Not for the M though.
A very nice car but nearly £80k for an X3?
Although not as individual, as fast or possibly as desirable I’m thinking fully specced X5 3.0 diesel M-Sport saving £15k.
One thing you referenced in the video was the Pano Roof, which I totally agree is a very nice addition, however, it appears a bargain on the X3 at £1200 when on an X5 it is £2,400!😳

I stated I’d rather take a fully specced X5 over the X3 Comp as a personal choice and save myself £15k.
Unless your a track day nut where are you going to use the X3 comp to its full potential in the U.K. and if you are a track day nut why buy a SAV?🙄

@@362chop that happens to every car, unless you find a car owned by "an old lady" who garages it every day and doesnt take it past 3k rpm. which can be just as bad for a turbo car. thanks for your opinion.
I currently drive a year old X5M and have the identical X3M Competition to the one in video for the weekend to test. I picked it up with 94 miles on the clock and now has 325 miles as drove it from Berkshire to Manchester and am not impressed. Looks gorgeous and the quality is awesome but it feels cramped to the X5M and feels a lot slower. I was shocked. It is the black colour with the same seats. Having gotten out of an X5M into this I can tell you there is a definite difference in speed with the X5M feeling much faster. So cant wait for the next X5M to come out. Why haven’t you tested the current one already Jo?
We’ll miss a lot of emotions with all electric cars. Exhaust look and sound.

It could just do with a touch more drama visually, why they didn’t fit X5M style arch flares and a better wheel design
I have the M40i here in Australia and the price difference is $60,000AU to get into a Competion X3. To me that is a absolute joke. I was expecting the Competion to be around 30k-40k more but come on BMW?? Really?. The Competition doesnt even have a carbon engine brace considering all other M cars do? For the money im totally happy with my M40i with optional factory 21,s fitted.

BMW are making some of the best looking vehicles around now. They have upped the game so much in the last two/three years. 👏 This looks absolutely mega and that interior is special.

henri brad agreed the sound is pretty awesome but honestly the X5M sounds great. I had an F10 M5 before this and the sound wasn’t great, but loving the X5M sound in sport plus.

henri brad yeah but in an M5, once you pull up alongside an M5 Competition you’ll just not love your car as much. In BMW Sytner in Maidenhead on Friday the salesman told me there Ian£20-£25k off on an M5 but only £5k on the M5 Competition...

Looks nice and all , and I bet it does the job but it also clearly shows , little children rule the world now , and they produce cars for the rest of the children , who will then get finance or a loan ( it's no biggie , I also got one for my phone ) in order to get this . I understand people who want a sporty car , like the M3 or an M4 , and I get why people get an SUV or even a real ATV , cause they need the clearance , off road capabilities or the towing power . Grown ups , know what they want and they also know how to compromise . Little children don't and that's the only reason for cars like this , no matter the brand , type or model . ''They'' say , it is what the market is askin for , but for all we know , it was all but a trick , to turn us into a jeep-like car country , where we drive around all day with our cupholders filled with pop , commuting between burger king and McDonalds .

Piece of junk! Quality of these 2020 are junk level. My 2020 broke down 3 weeks after I got it from dealership, leaking oil from defective gasket. Dealer can not even order right part yet. I am stuck with brand new 2020 expensive piece of junk.

Yes. It was a lot of fun getting into this car. Engine sounds amazing BUT it seems BMW quality Legacy going into toilet. Last BMW I have bought. One is better getting 2019 model, as 2020 model don’t even have parts available yet to dealers and your warranty is useless if dealer has no parts to make the repair. Car is sitting now in dealership and waiting for answer from BMW when they can ship the needed part. So far silence.
ekim andersom brand new car with only 3 weeks of driving should not have a broken gasket, not BMW. There is such thing as quality control for expensive luxury cars. Quality control miserably failed. What else they failed in? I am not mechanic to take this car apart and examine it all.
ekim andersom and by the way since this is new 2020 model, it took bmW exactly 30 days to get needed part from Germany as all of those parts were going into production car and there were not for warranty repairs. So new 2020 piece of junk had to sit 1 month for waiting for the part. Not an experience you expected from BMW new very pricy car as you just bought it
