- As always there’s always something in trucking, I needed a truck swap because my electrical line had a shortening in it, I pulled my first successful intermodal but I was running out of HOS.
Have you had to use the 16 hour rule yet?
Na not yet, but this day I did have to use a personal conveyance though
@@rydewithty I didn’t think you were allowed to use that exemption
@@Snowbird_89 Me either, but dispatch instructed me to do so in order to not go into violation.
@@rydewithty You are going to risk your CDL by following your dispatchers bad instruction? You are a fool.
Can't drive using the 16 hour rule.
the locks on the back of the container where left in the unlock position. your supposed to twist the handle so the lock and be in the lock position or else you'll risk the container to come off the chassis when hitting a bump on the road
I caught it when putting my zip ties on, that could’ve been disastrous
damn dude the rear intermodal locks were unlocked😅
I caught it when I was putting the zip ties on, good thing I didn’t drive away with this thing like that
Is the Amazon yard you picked up from a Fulfillment Center or Sort Center? Never seen the lightup docks on the concrete "runway".
It was a sort center, it was my first time going to that location, I’ve been to one other location that also had a “runway” and it was also a sort center.
Why didn't you switch the pigtail from the truck you picked up? Or a new one from the shop?
They usually just swap out the truck altogether and then the truck will go to the shop to resolve the issue. That’s just the way they do it here
@@rydewithty Got it.
