Only downside of the whole bike for me is the battery life I’d struggle to get 30 minutes out of a full charge at a decent pace but other then that it’s a super fun bike!
Yeah it’s hard to make a same comparative comparison between because you are use to the smoker, also even if you put the same hp, the varg is heavier so benefit the smoker, and the varg benefit are no clutch no gears. Puting the same setting on the varg than your yz is like asking to a good kick boxer to fight a good boxer but without using the feet. Anyway it’s a good video. Good job.
Yea I was surprised that when I turned the varg to equivalent power it felt really slow so we actually did bump it up a bit but there’s no compassion for time on a bike like I have on the two stroke
@@elijahwiese82 yeah thats the reason why i don't really compare a 450 to a 250 to a 2 stroke or ebike. I just try to find on which one i am more confortable and faster. So if the varg exemple is the best, no matter if i use it at 250 350 or 450. For now my yz450f 2023 is my favorite but i tried the varg just 3 laps last summer. I will try my new varg hear in canada when the track re-open.
@@mxriderdakar yea that’s exactly right mate obviously I’ll be faster and more comfy on the two stroke but with more time on the varg I reckon I would be faster just with how easy they are to ride and the way they feel but either way both are fun for sure
Standard yz 250 is 48.8 and mine has a full season of racing on it so it’s tired but we did end up bumping up the stark to more power and still quicker on the two stroke just given the time I’ve had on it and that I’m comfy on it
The stark at max power is not fair at all. It’s like comparing a 450 to a 250 the power difference doesn’t make for an equal comparison. Cool thing with the stark is you can change the power range to what ever suits you
Mate I'm 56 and been racing since "83" I've seen it all and i still call my 2stroke the ultimate machine.
2 strokes will never die!!
The 2stroke looks better and sounds better
Agreed!!
Hard to deny how impressive those Starks are, I just wish they did more for my soul. Nice demo though!
I was pretty blown away with how good they are too definitely a bike I’d love in my collection! Thanks mate
Great vid my man! Rippin that 2ee
Thank you mate!!
Awesome to see a comparison on a local track, makes it a lot easier to relate. How was the battery life of the Stark?

Great stuff! Track looks fun. What kind of gopro mount you use with helmet? Cause i have 6d myself so looking for similar angles/positioning
Thanks mate!!
This was a dango design gripper mount on my chin piece of the helmet. Go pro also do a claw style mount as well that can work
The 2 steoke will go further and last longer than the Stark, plus is worlds cheaper to rebuild.
That ebike is a paperweight in under 5 years.
Still love proper engine sound tho especially a 2 banger 😍🤘.
YZ WIN!.
Nah, EV's are the worst thing to happen to motorsport.
Have you ridden one?
Na, cobalt mining is the worst thing…
@@adammclean7918 I’ll have to google what that is haha
Yep, bad enough that 4strokes made it easier now with no clutch or shifting means rider skill can be less.

Setting stark at 45 hp is a bit of a handicap . A yz250 is 52 hp and also under 100 kgs
Standard yz 250 is 48.8 and mine has a full season of racing on it so it’s tired but we did end up bumping up the stark to more power and still quicker on the two stroke just given the time I’ve had on it and that I’m comfy on it
Why the hell you dropped the power on the Stark!!! You have to compare the bike at their full potential!!!
The stark at max power is not fair at all. It’s like comparing a 450 to a 250 the power difference doesn’t make for an equal comparison. Cool thing with the stark is you can change the power range to what ever suits you
So add 20kg to the 2 stroke to be fair!!!@@elijahwiese82 It makes no sense...
It was quads vs bikes now it’s Combustion Vs Electric. I think we all know who the enemy is…
Still quads??
The government.
