I used to use the little applicators that came in palletes but that's because my mom did and I only know what she told me about makeup until I started watching more CZcams and discovered that eyeshadow brushes were a thing
if your looking for cheap powder highlighters the MUA undress your skin hilights are THE BOMB and they are only like £3/$3 so they are rlly affordable

I USE THE LITTLE SPONGE APPLICATOR THAT COMES WITH THE EYESHADOW 🙋🏻🙋🏻
except i only use it to apply the eyeshadow, then i blend it out with a brush 🙃

i used to use that baby makeup brush especially for ballet perfomances and i remenber a girl from my class used to buy a full package of those at the dollar store, she used and throw it out after!
