    Thanks for these videos on the Challenger. If I ever get the money to get a Challenger(which has always been my dream car) I think I'd want the widebody version of the Scat Pack over the RT or HC versions. Widebody for the better looks and the Scat Pack for that balance between the power of the HC and the simpleness of the RT.

    Just bought a 2020 Scat Pack. Not even broken in yet. I love this car! Reminds me of the muscle cars from when I was young. 60s & 70s. only it handles, and stops! Always been a Mopar guy although I've had a few of the other guys. I traded a 2017 Camaro, and am glad I did. Loved the Camaro also, but, this is much more "me"! I'm learning a lot about my car from your videos. Thank You! Happy New Year!

    The two biggest complaints about my SP is: 1. No driver seat position memory feature, and 2. the auto up window thing is strange. Other than that it is a great driver's car. With stock tune on NT555Rs I've done high 11's in 500' DA air (three in a row one night) and the onboard dyno definitely was showing over 500 hp (about 515-ish is my estimation). If you didn't know you can take screen snapshots of your dyno, g-meter and gauges if you have a thumbdrive installed in the USB and then hit the little camera icon...kinda cool. Your review hit all the important points pretty accurately and I have no regrets whatsoever with getting my '18 SP.

    Good review man. I totally agree with you on the seats, they are super comfortable and love the one's in my challenger. Especially the SRT seats, and are a great combination between sport & comfort. That looks so hot in destroyer gray with the shaker, and is a good-looking Mopar bro. It's a bummer that they're not going to be offering it, and am disappointed that they discontinued the color for the 2020 model year

    @RacerX thanks for these videos. As you may recall, I have owned 2- R/Ts. A 2016 R/T Shaker, and 2018 R/T both with the 6 speed Tremec. I wasnt sure I wanted to make the move up to the 392 Challenger, but after watching all your Mopar vids, and on your Scat Pack in particular, you helped me decide to pull the trigger and buy my new 2021 (It was ordered in Aug 2021 and arrived just 2 1/2 weeks ago)...Challenger 392 T/A package...and yes, with the 6 speed Tremec (I am an old school guy and just love the manuals). I like the 275s that came with the T/A package and the cold air intake as well. I went with F8 green and LOVE the colour. It only has a few 100 kms on it as I just picked it up 2 weeks ago. So far it is a blast and although you warned us about the torque, wow, it made my R/Ts torque feel like a V6 in comparison. I couldn`t be happier than I am with my new Challenger 392 T/A Scat pack. Thanks again for these great reviews.

    Thanks for the review been contemplating a scat pack just like the one you two own. I agree on the ratings you gave it is a really comfortable and fun car with a lot of useable torque. I'm debating on it or a new mustang but I'm 6'1 and my wife is almost 6' even. That and the back seat is actually useable for my daughter to ride in. I'm happy I have options but the dodge really impressed me, mustang felt small and the back seat was just for show. We have a Subaru Sti that while not fast is fun to drive on twisty roads (and bad weather) and has four doors so for us this is a nice complement to what we have especially at the price point. I'm back in my 3rd Challenger (a new loaded Scat Pack manual) after owing a 2014 Challenger Red Line (5.7) and 2016 Shaker (5.7), I totaled the Shaker and veered off, picking a used C6 vette and a new 2018 Mustang GT with the performance pack. • @jamesdumas6602
    @jamesdumas6602 Před 4 lety

    Under your Gas Mileage section, you missed the mark completely. You did NOT mention the MDS (Multi-Displacement System) that come on all 6.4 with Automatic transmissions. When driving in Normal Mode ( It will Not activate in Not Sport or Track mode) the engine will drop off 4 cylinders and your MPG go up into the high 30's to 50's. I use this a lot when driving to two-lane back roads in a line of traffic. I put the Adaptive Cruise on and just follow the line of cars in front of me, listening to my 18 speaker Harmon Kardon stereo.
    I chill out and get 30-45 MPG. I'd give my 6.4 2019 Challenger a 9 under Gas Mileage. I think the MDS is great, I don't even feel it dropping off, or kicking back on. It works between 50 and 70 MPH in 8th gear.

    Hey man, I really appreciate your videos, they've made me fall in love with this car. I had my heart set on one so I went to test drive it and I don't fit (I'm 6'5", 40" torso)! So my question is, can you tell what that cross bar is that the front of the driver's seat is bolted to? I'm thinking the only way I could make this car work would be with a few extra inches of headroom. I'm hoping if I bolt the seat lower, it'll work so just wondering. Thanks man!

    • @RacerX9
      @RacerX9  Před 5 lety

      Carlos .. I hate to say it brother but I’m not sure if there is a different way to bolt that seat in there to give you more space or not.. I know the power feature will let you move it down but only so far. The Charger certainly has more room and it’s a bad ass ride as well. Hopefully you can figure out a way to make it work .. it’s an amazing ride 👍
