Ndagire the problem is that Africa needs good teachers and managers in trades and a government who is wanting to appoint local people to appoint them to fulfill each project.
You need roads built, house's built, water systems built electrical systems built and then local companies allowed to work and earn. In UK I personally have worked with many people, but I am not at the top and it is only from the top that money projects come from.

I am from the Caribbean , I am now in Kenya but I visited Uganda for 1 month and I was shocked at the amount of dirt roads in the country. The people are trying but the roads are awful. This contributes to a dusty or muddy environment in areas where there are many businesses. Then I was shocked to see so many nice cars and people in their nice clothes traveling on these dirt roads as if it's normal. This was very strange.

However, some karma is going back to them as their corrupt people are increasingly getting emboldened with fewer consequences.

have been dominated by others for centuries and nothing is about to change any time soon. We have had hundreds of years of European domination and learnt nothing because we are now beginning to be dominated by the Chinese who have a softly, softly approach, but give them time and Africans will be screaming blue murder. Outsiders can smell the submissiveness of the African and never fail to take full advantage of it. Africans are boasting that the will have 1/4 of the world population by 2050 and l ask What's the big deal if the youth are not being prepared. Leadership IS the key. Hopefully Uganda and rest of Africa gets leaders like this young, intelligent, wise powerful woman speaking. That, actually, is the key to countries and lands around the world. Dynamic, SOLID, well-meaning for THE PEOPLE Leaders. Folks in Africa should...as I suggest they do in America--DRAFT the best and brightest among them... to LEAD! AND Africa would benefit if it was the UNITED STATES OF AFRICA instead of so many "countries". Possible? If not, Europe and other "places and people" will keep coming in and do it for "them". There's power in unity. I'd vote for this woman as a leader. It's evident--her mind is sharp and her vision is clear. But most important...her HEART AND SOUL is about serving Africa and fellow Africans. Idea: Draft HER as a leader.

Idi Amin Dada will always be among the strongest of our Freedom fighters. He was a tough soldier who had a very low tolerance for bullsh*t from these people. He never even payed homage to their 'darling queen.' He was the kind of guy who would let old lizzy drag her own bag to a plane! ...so long as his hands were full ofcourse! He didn't care. He was all about his people; Ugandans first! The way it should be. Afrika for Afrikans.

If he was such a great leader, what are Ugandans complaining about? Why are the roads still the same? Why are people still living in poverty? This is what the Internet has to say about him, "He ruled as a military dictator and is considered one of the most brutal despots in modern world history." If you have leaders like Idi Amin, the poorer Africa will be for it. Exactly what is happening Boccanfuso.

As a black man, I have to say that, that Arab man was correct in what he said.
It is down to our leadership.
It is so sad to think that because of poor leadership, corruption, and the planting of puppets by western countries, Africa has been robbed to the core, of all its resources, and exploited.
More brave leaders are needed like Ibrahim Traore, a brave man who is not afraid to die for his country, a man who is doing as much as he can, to improve his country by making the very changes we speak of, to protect our resources, stopping exploitation , , and helping our own people to live a more prosperous life.
He is working on creating infrastructure, roads, electricity and water to areas currently without, machinery to extract our own minerals and other valuables, and making the West and others pay for it, and pay the correct prices, then that money comes into his country.
He also has plans for education and the healthcare sectors of his country, now that is leadership and action.
That is the key thing, action, positive actions from leadership.
Great content Ndagire, always love when you upload, keep up the great work... stay blessed, and wonderful.
