    UPDATE: THEY WORK!!! I bought two of these units for my garage. I installed the first unit but no matter how I tried all the function buttons nothing happened. After I decided to return the unit, I climbed up the ladder and as soon as I started to unscrew the unit IT ROARED INTO ACTION!!!!! Obviously, there was the slightest install adjustment required. Thumbs up!

    The light changes so you don’t need the remote .. just Like a pull cord on a ceiling fan, you keep pulling it to change fan speed.

    If I were a contractor working in attics or crawl spaces I'd use this while I worked in there and then put the customers regular bulb back when done. Might get 2 myself 1 for the attic and one for the crawl space. Attics in the summer are unbearable, some air moving would be HUGE!

    • @Pro1er
      @Pro1er Před rokem +2

      There are portable fans the use the same batteries as power tools. There are not a lot of light sockets in attics and crawl spaces.

    I have had one for about 10 months and love it. I put mine on a clamp on table lamp ( I removed the shade) and fixed it so it's right above my head.
    Works great, I got a good desk light and the fan is really useful during the summer. Plan on getting another soon.

    Thx. Yes, an extension plus a tilt angle capability so it can direct the breeze elsewhere in the room so ine doesn't have to be right underneath it.

    The Breeze Brite appears to be a rebranded generic Chinese product that is a bit more common in some Asian countries. I own an "upgraded" version in the States bought on Amazon, for about 50 USD. The main difference is that the "upgraded" Breeze Brite (hence shortened to BB) will remember the last saved setting as long as it's turned on after 7 seconds from being turned off. If turned on-off-on before 7 seconds, it defaults to a built-in pattern much like you've experienced. The "upgraded" BB also allows for color temperature shifting, from cool white to warm white, in addition to fan speed control and brightness control.
    As for the switch "issue", if they're anything like the generic ones that can be bought off Amazon or off a shelf in Asia, those 3 on-off-on modes are meant for if the user lost the remote so that it won't be a completely useless product; as you'd have light, fan, or light+fan to quickly toggle through. A similar setup is found on some cheaper light+BT speaker socket light/speaker hybrids in Asia that have light+speaker, light-only, and speaker-only modes.
    You should try testing and see if the As Seen On TV BB will remember settings after 7 seconds of being off and turned back on, or if it's the cheaper type that always defaults back to the usual loop of light, fan, light+fan.

    This is fan-tastic! Just watched your other video and I'm getting one of the Socket Fanlights next week. Hate the light (why do they make those ugly, ugly blue led lights...yuk), but the fan is what I need.
    I've been trying to come up with a solution for 10 years....and this is it! Easy...breezy!
    Jeff...you are brilliant. (Couldn't resist all the puns!)
    ps: it's $59.99 in Canada ++++++ taxes galore.

    Watched the tv commercials. I don't know if they added the fan in later, but in the commercial, there were papers all over the desk and they didn't move; didn't even flutter!

    Depends on cost, but I like the idea in my shed. Two of these could provide a nice breeze and good light. Price would be better around 25.00 . Two of these in 14 by 12 shed would be nice. I will watch for sales.

    I think it's a pretty good product but still think price is a bit high, not too bad though. I'm guessing the $20-$25 price range for an "as seen on tv" product are just about gone. When they were $19.99 I was more likely to give it a try if I liked something but at $40 or more, not so much. Great review Jeff, thank you. 💕

    This product looked so simple to install I bought two (2) Breeze Brite ceiling fans to install in my garage which has two ceiling outlets. I was interested in the option of additional lighting. Because the unit is so small I didn't expect much "breeze." I installed one of the two units into one of my lighting outlets. Then turned on the master switch for the garage lights. I removed the plastic tab from the remote and attempted to activate the Breeze Brite by pressing the remote's master On/Off button. When I pressed the light buttons - I got Nothing. When I tried to activate the fan function - still I got Nothing. I even tried switching to the remote from the second unit to see if it was a remote problem - NOTHING again.

      @Jeffreviews4u  Před rokem +1

      Did the lights turn on when the main switch was turned on? If not, there may be something wrong with the lights or outlets. You should have power, even if the remotes aren't working. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍

WE DON'T WANNA GO THERE. I THINK THE FIRST ONE YOU REVIEWED I LIKE THE BEST. THE COMPARISON WAS GREAT. I ALSO SAW SOME OTHERS ON AMAZON BUT I STILL THINK THE FIRST WAS MORE WHAT I NEEDED. ONE THING THOUGH, I HEARD REPORTS OF THE FIRST FAN HAVING DEFECTS, HAVE YOU HEARD ANYTHING??? FOR 50+ DOLLARS YOU KINDA WANT THE THING TO WORK... I LIVE IN MEXICO AND SHIPPING IS STUPID. AND TOO, IT'S A 16+ HOUR DRIVE TO THE STATES. KEEP AN EYE ON THE REVIEWS AND DO A FOLLOW-UP IF AT ALL POSSIBLE... THANX & STAY COOL BROTHER... PEACE...

    I don't like the way the light shines onto the portion of the fan closest to it which makes a strobe effect while looking up at it. Your video did not show what looked it like on the ground because it wasn't in the video. I like your Star Wars Droid and Arborvitae. I had a couple placed on my front porch like that too.
