He was trying to cover up having simultaneously cheated on his wife AND his mistress. But the cover-up lasted only until Election Day 2016. After that, it’s been testified already, he didn’t care who knew.

Obama and almost all of the other folks at these roasts were able to laugh at themselves with grace. Trump has none. He's an angry child.

I too literally thought it was a joke when I heard he was running. From a lifelong (anti-Trump) Republican.
Quite honestly I think Obama's jokes aimed at Trump put him over the top.
You can tell he's seething here. Same when Obama roasted him.
But Obama made for a more concrete enemy.
So, he ramped up his birtherism and sought office to try and prove he was better than Obama. Of course, he couldn't.
But he has a severe inferiority complex, so he's still saying he's fighting against Obama. He fears being inferior, so he demands to be seen as the best at everything. Most narcissists are like that.
And because Obama is black, his hatred, which he already had for blacks, is directed at them and any non-white ethnicity.
Seth humiliated him. Obama humiliated him. He couldn't sit back and let that stand.
But then he won the white house in 2016. So it seems as though its no joke.
The view of everyone sitting there laughing except Trump sitting there seething I love it.

I still love Obama's reactions to those jokes (and jokes about him in general) so much. It makes him honestly so likable that he's able to take a joke and even agree with some of the criticism or his flaws. Like when Myers says "Was he a little too idealistic? Maybe." and Obama nods emphatically. That shows so much introspection and self-reflection. Something that Donald Trump is absolutely incapable off. He feels personally attacked by any joke and never forgets it until the day he can take revenge. To me, Trump fulfills almost every condition of textbook narcissism.
