A daily driver Lamborghini 5.2L V10 is a fine way towards bankruptcy if you're not a millionaire.
I've been wanting one of these so badly, lately. This video didn't help! I'm glad you uploaded it, though. The acceleration looked beautifully smooth.
engine keeping strong at 325k km :))
They hold up pretty well, so long as you do maintenance. I don't have the same engine but got the 3.2 V6 in the A6 variant, basically the same car and got near 340k on the odo. Although I do change my oil sooner than what the screen says or manual recommends. I do it every 5-8k km because of my driving style and sometimes excessive idling which could dilute the oil. With excessive I mean like first start in the morning I let it warm up the first 2 minutes until the revs drop to idle and then drive it calmly. In colder times I just start my car and step outside to remove snow/ice, by the time I am done and step back inside the vents would be warm so I start to drive calmly. And if I have a short stop/loading the trunk, the engine stays running.
Lately I've been driving in the city more which gives me horrendous fuel consumption with all the constant traffic and roadworks, however most of my kilometers have been from highway driving.
Also I don't think this V10 is that happy because at 2:00 it takes around 6-ish seconds to get from 0-100 which is almost as fast (or slow, depending how you see it) as my 3.2 equipped car which does it in about 6-7 seconds around the same temperature as in this video with almost half the power and only 200kg lighter. That surprised me.
I once drove an late 2006 Audi S8 5.2 V12 for a very short time back in the summer of 2007 and I have to say that has to be the best and most smoothest car I've ever driven ! - The S8 5.2 is a great car ! and I am a Merc Man ! sorry Mercedes, got to give Audi much credit here ;)

I have the s6 v10. Original it is not even near as fast as It could be ofcource audi downtuned it.
I have fitted jhm crank pulley and intake spacers combined with carbon clean and a new intake and new fuel pumps also a stage one tune one the transmission and engine From jhm. Catback milltek exhuast the car makes just under 517hp and easily goes over 300kmh and alot more tourque. In my opinion this is what audi should have done from the factory. If you do this mods the car will be worth alot more also

Did JHMotorsports's stage 1 tune remove the limiter? It's clearly at 273 -275 km/hour for this car.
Yes when they do the tune they remove the limiter.
do you have an aftermarket intake and fuelpumps? or did you replace the old ones with factory new ones. also did you officially dyno it to get the number 517?
Question. Why even have power in the first place if you car can't take a corner at more than 80 km/h?
It goes 300 km/h, but a 100 kW shitbox Formula 4 copy ends up much faster on track.
I guess it's just an Autobahn toy?

@@harriskhan6438No, they go faster and quicker with the ECU and TCU tune from JHM, as well as the other accessories. All of the record cars are running JHM.

@@TOPSPEEDMASTERS Had it removed, but you gonna literally gain 5 km/h max because you run out of Horsepower, i had mine remappd to 476 HP, full Catless, full straight Pipe, this was the max achievable without hardware mods. So literally theres no reason. 281 was top speed after it and before the software and remap it was 275 or 276.
@@DarkSession6208 Who did your tuning and whose hardware were you running. The JHM ECU and TCU tune with hardware make a big difference (especially the TCU tune which removes torque limitations, etc).

@@DarkSession6208 @jtherealtor Another factor is the engine condition. This car's engine has a horrible issue with power loss due to oil gunk clogging up the intake manifold. How many miles did your car have on it when you did these runs?

S6-s8 v10 those are too slow cars for a big power ( 435-450 hp ) i had S6 2002 4.2 v8 (360 HP ) car vmax was 285km/h at speedo. Later i bought S8 5.2 v10 and there was slide difference s8 450 HP was slower then 2002 s6 4.2 LOL and s8 max speed is 275-280 at speedo almost same acceleration like in the video.. its fcking BIG SHAME for 5.2 v10
