Carole & Ken what a pity you didn't get to chat with David Icke would have been enlightening that's for sure...I often found some of his remarks very what shall I say 'interesting' 🤔 but he certainly had an opinion on things 😉.
Just for the record. When our 1st battery came to the end of its life we purchased the best acid leisure battery we could find. That was 2018. We are out wild camping any time of the year. We have no solar panel. We are normally out for 7/8 mths during the year. We have never had any problems with the battery going flat. Also the traction battery is original 2016 acid battery. Never a problem. Having said all this I now expect all hell will be let loose. The big difference here is we live in Spain and travel in Spain, Portugal and southern France. What a difference warmer climes make on battery life.

I had a 80ah lithium (LiFeP02) in my NV200 and that was excellent. Only problem with lithium is it should not be charged in extreme cold weather. I would like a lithium in my new campervan.

Just going back to your first question and answer session, I wondered how you were going to sell your your "little red camper" to help fund the new purchase? I tried to part exchange my campervan a 2 year old low mileage Hillside VW Birchover and no one wanted it, or would give very little towards the new purchase.
We have already recorded the answer to this for a future video. We will try and sell it privately. If it is not sold by the time the new van is ready we will part exchange it.

We swapped to lithium and increased the size of our solar panel and it really was a game changer 😊

If adding Lithium to your car you will definitely need to add a protection system to your vehicle's alternator
