CARP FISHING IN LONDON - PARK LAKES

- Throughout 2019 I spent a good amount of time fishing for the elusive carp that reside in London's Park Lakes. From 2 to 40 acres I made trips through the busy city to target stunning old carp.
brilliant fishing mate, the logistics of getting to the lake would put most people off, just goes to show you, who dares, wins👍🎣😎

I've lived in London for years and recently started getting back into fishing ( pre lockdown), having no car at the moment this gives me great inspiration to go out and find spots of water to fish. nice one man!

Epic volg mate, Glad to see you fished Burgess park once upon a time about 40 years ago I caught my first ever fish there a gudgeon with a Woolworths fishing kit, Fast forward about 10 years and I caught my largest Mirror about 20lb and a life of angling continues!

I've lived in Dalston for a long time and have walked around a lot if the canals and park lakes in central London and seen some great fish In the summer months. I've often thought of getting my carp gear from Essex and having a go but it takes a lot of commitment and time. You deserve every ounce of those fish. Well done mate

really good these Jacob. Conveys the excitement and pain of fishing tricky venues like you do perfectly. Effort=reward and all that. Some of the best fishing content I have seen outside of ESP, Sticky etc who have big budgets and professional videographers.

Great vlog mate and well done on every catch hard work and effort certainly paid off I used to do exactly the same thing as yourself when I was growing up in London and still do it to this day but not in London now only on a few local park lakes to me it ain’t easy lugging all the gear on the tubes and busses either fair play to you and looking forward to seeing some more of your adventures good luck and tight lines 👍🏻

Great stuff. Wish I still had that energy! Lots of effort for a person of any age. I used to fish a well known London carp lake for pike on lures. Home of the Royal forty. I got to know some of the carp anglers who fished it at the time. One of them caught the forty.
Do any of you carp guys know if the Royal Forty is still alive? Probably not.
