  • For many years we've had requests for a fitting that allows you to telescope one pipe into another. And during that time we only he one that worked, but it only worked on 3/4" pipe into 1.25" fitting. Not really a popular situation. But now we have the fittings that not only allow you to put 1/2" pipe into 3/4" pipe and 3/4" pipe into 1" pipe, but you can also now secure each section. Of course the larger pipe must be thinwall (Furniture grade thinwall or Class 200 (or similiar) plumbing pipe) but it works and it works very well.
    Here are the links:
    New Style 1/2" into 3/4":

    New Style 3/4" into 1":

    Old style 3/4" into 1.25" fitting:

    Thinwall 1" pipe:

    On the 1/2" into 3/4" as long as you are not inserting anything into the 1/2" you can use std sch 40 (or any) 1/2" IPS pipe. However if you want to put in a 4th section you will need to use the 1/2" thinkwall pipe:

    or

    and a special order fitting to put 3/8" pipe into the 1/2"":

      Unfortunately not at this time. If there is enough demand, maybe. But not right now.

    Do you offer quick release clamps instead of the wingnut style shown in the video?

    • @FlexPVC
      @FlexPVC  Před rokem

      Yes and no. The problem with the quick release clamps is that they have a MUCH smaller range of sizes. So it would depend on what size pipe / tubing you are using. Please contact us directly via email flexpvc.com/Contact.shtml with the dims of your pipe / tubing (ID and OD for both) and we'll see what is available. Thank you.

    These links go out to the Flex PVC site, but not to the couplers which I want to look at. How do I get to the couplers?

    Hi again. Just looking for response if Steel Spring Buttons is put into a bottom section will it prevent it falling out the bottom?

    • @FlexPVC
      @FlexPVC  Před 8 měsíci

      Maybe. It would depend on how you implement it. The best thing to do is contact us directly via our website: flexpvc.com/Contact.shtml and be sure to upload a drawing or two of how you plan to do it. Thanks

    Any idea if it will make for a permanent mounted antenna mast, 20 feet mounted side of building near rooftop Vertical antenna (need help with this for ham radio) Then a 40 foot for ground mount with center spike inside tripod. (Inverted "V" dipole) Really looking for something durable weather resistant. min 5 years.

    • @FlexPVC
      @FlexPVC  Před měsícem

      Permanent???? Maybe. If you guy wire it, yes. If you don't and there is a lot wind or your antenna has a lot of cross section, no.

    Hi, are the tubes captive? When a clamp is not tighten, if you held the whole thing from the top would they/bottom one, fall our, or is the top part of the clamp preventing that?

    • @FlexPVC
      @FlexPVC  Před 8 měsíci

      Sorry they are not. If you don't tighten them they will fall out.

      @@FlexPVC so would adding a “compressed button” (sorry forget official name), I assume that would keep them in place?

    • @FlexPVC
      @FlexPVC  Před 8 měsíci

      I don't know what a compression button is, but if you are talking about something that that goes on the end of the pipe and sticks out, maybe, but there is not a lot of room for that. @@lovetennisevents

    Why are these only available from 3 companies? Like is this really that strict of a product that no one can reproduce them?? This is ridiculous

    • @FlexPVC
      @FlexPVC  Před rokem

      For decades there were none. You could not get them at any price from anyone unless you made them yourself. Now you complain that "only 3" have them? I call that progress.
