I know these shows are cheap to produce but I can feel my brain cells dying off every time I accidentally catch a few seconds of this and many other shows on your network. Just because there is a demand for something doesn’t mean it’s a good thing.

yeah I can't even begin to understand why more isn't done to protect inmates, especially in big prisons. 98% of the horrible, traumatic stuff that happens could be completely cut out by simply having the physical presence of a guard at all times. one single guard simply watching behind a glass window would make some dudes think twice. wouldn't stop everything, naturally, but it'd stop a lot.

Correction officers can make about 60k a year after just a few years, depending on whether they are understaffed or not, but nowadays almost all jails and prisons are so they get at least 55+ hours. My uncle was making 80k a year by the end of his career, but he did work overtime nearly the whole 20 years.
