good work, they use used sheet iron, it's a great thing, it's not wasteful, they use just ordinary stuff, even though they lack special equipment. it's great, just in terms of public safety and workers it's very lacking, hope they prioritize safety and stay away from something you don't want. great job.👍👍👍👍👍

They are digging up the road in front of our house right now. The excavator has such a sturdy bucket, they drop it onto the 4-inc thick concrete street to break it up. The street. I don't think the buckets seen in this video are heavy or strong enough to do that. For light-duty use only, like digging in loose sand?
Yes there are really idiot operators doing that, buckets are not supposed to break pccp or conc. They are for excavation, but it’s okay that they can make it out of the recycled iron.
Hey Listen GUYS, Lets not be too harsh on these guys. For a start you dont live there, you have no idea of their culture & all its intricacies. Why not throw a bit praise around. As far as I am concerned these guys really do a tremendous job with the equipment they have.OK the quality may not be as good as our way over priced western gear. But at least their production is affordable for their people
Is part of their culture to not prep the steel and just weld over paint and rust? Is it a bargain if it's not made with hardox and doesn't last as long as "our way over priced western gear? Crap is crap!
It's so after watching this video. i think it should show how the safety of this workplace is something that does not exist. in Denmark, protection goggles, gloves, hearing protection and not least safety shoes are required. if these are not used, it can result in fines for workers and companies.
Great job, the only criticism I would give is to clean your cuts up more with a grinder by getting them smoothed out, get all the old flaking paint off the steel and give it a real good paint job to protect it from rusting. I don’t know if it is just me, but the forks looked like they were off a little bit. Other than that it’s amazing what you all do with scraps and garbage, turning it into useful and needed things and the way you all repair things from nothing.
This is the closest we have to a time machine sent back to 1500 This is literally the same method Da Vinci imagined. Not sure if it went past the proof of concept, but maybe these ones came a few years later and managed to get it working. This is quite impressive for people from the 1500 though
Love all the experts that come out of the woodwork on videos like this. It’s not like they’re manufacturing these buckets for Kubota or John Deere. These guys are probably in some poor country in the Middle East and just trying to do the best with what they have available.

Being poor and not doing the job right are not synonyms, they waste a lot of time cutting twice after measuring three times. They do single pass welds an inch thick instead of building up the weld doing proper cleanup in between beads. The sides and the main skin of the bucket should be welded inside and out with at least three beads (one root and two overlapping) they use a single bead only on the outside. Instead of doing the proper prep work on the leading edge of the blade to properly fit the teeth they just fill the gaps between the teeth and the blade weakening the teeth( and the teeth are so long they will break off because of the leverage created against those welds.
Just amazing job !!!!!But how in planet earth they don’t get hurt working with sandals!!! Me last night I went out to get the newspaper and,nag you don’t want know !!!!!! Congratulations 🫢🤫
Also I dont think this was recorded recently, because squating on the work piece wearing open sandals like at 0:29, while welding - would never pass an OSHA inspection
Question - what kind of material is this bucket intended for? The teeth are very long so I'm thinking maybe this is for agricultural uses or clearing out bogs or something like that. Maybe clay? This does not seem like a rock bucket. But maybe the teeth are just allowed to wear down ... ?
Little more grinding in certain areas & it would have fit tighter togh & u wouldn't have had big ass gaps that where filled with weld & not really that strong there was like a 1/4 to 1/2 gaps for the mount to bucket plus should have been ground on angle so u get better penatration & both base metals get heated & melted better as it is its just the filler rod which by itself is not strong
The orange paint your see on the plate steel is lead based paint. Not exactly good for your health to be breathing, especially while grinding and welding.

The 'teeth' are only going to be good for digging bean-bag beans...

I wonder if they expect to have cracks in welds in Pakistan. Even there, they have Lots of other examples of more appropriate use of technology.
So we can say that all those part just stick together !! One pass ?, nahh it will be fine, in this way tell will come back each week for more welding!
