***** "Luke says: Winston voices blow out cause he's got sick from all those cigarettes in Europe." Basically his lungs were aching and he was not feeling well.
Soumya Majumder Nice man, Threat Signal originated from nearly an hour away from me. Such a great band... and As I Lay Dying is also great until Tim fucked up hard lol.
I like how some pop artists spend years or months on albums while computers do it for them when Parkway Drive can make a good legit album in 2 WEEKS. Makes me proud .
Man, to think back in January 2008 I went to see Killswitch Engage with Every Time I Die, and a little band I'd hadn't heard of called Parkway Drive. I have listened to them ever since.
@@jamesstagg880 Obviously, I was much younger at the time and a little too judgemental for my own good, I went in thinking a band called Parkway Drive would be so lame. BOY did they ever change my mind and I am so happy about it
Its the first time I watch the documentary... I found something cool! In the dvd they say they played a shitty show in 2006 in Belgium.. I was there. Later in de dvd @47:40 They are showing the show in Belgium 2008, I was there to. When they play Boneyards you see someone climbing on the stage... its me going for a stagedive! Really special if I see this now. I bought Killing with a smile @ the show in 2006! I was FACINATED! Its amazing I saw you guys growing! The rest is history!!!! :D
Watched this one so many times, truly inspiring to see how the blokes started out and fulfilled their musical dreams by pure dedication. If you're looking for a band to join and enjoy to sing heavy vocals then check out the video on our channel! Information can be found in the description box of our video!
They're just simply amazing dudes with dedication and hard work in their veins. This just really shows that if you work your ass off you can do whatever. I love these guys. They're just an inspiration.
such an amazing band, i've only been into them for about a year, and only seen them live once, but it was one of the most intense shows ever, i lost my phone, had people landing on my head left right and centre..including winston, but it was immense. and watching these clips of the band, just shows how cool they are as people, great sense of humour, an amazing can do attitude, and general love for life. this is the side you dont often see.
"Didn't know where we were going. didn't know what we would find. Pretty much just jumped off every bridge we could find." This is how we all need to live our lives
I remember 2008 well. I live in Adelaide, and me and my mates were on a road trip and 1 of my mates is like put this on u will love it. It was parkway drive and the first song he played first was carrion. To this day that is my favourite song and my favourite band. Love them
When they have to sleep outside and wanted to tour in Europe but they can't but still went with only a van and gps tracker... Talk about dedication and living life! I couldn't hate this band even if I want to.
This is a great comedy documentary and I laughed a lot, a band from small Australian town became arguably one of the biggest modern metal acts headlining festivals now and filling out huge arenas.
ah! I was at that Springfield, Missouri show at 39 minute mark, tornado sirens going off & all we were worried abt is better not lose electric power cos we came for Parkway Drive!
This band came into my life at the right time, I was looking for something heavier than what I was listening to and I just turned 14 and a mate of mine had a song on his iPod called "a cold day in hell" by Parkway and I'm like "oh wow who's this" and he's like "oh mate it's Parkway Drive, fucking awesome band from Aussie" listened to it and was instantly hooked. They seem like such cool dudes as well
Watched this video at least a dozen times in the past few months. I think its better than Home Is For The Heartless personally. Its not nearly as "produced".
I loved watching this documentary, at the end Winston McCall says " so predicting what we are going to do in the future is like rolling dice" ... well Parkway Drive are definitely high rollers, since this Documentary, they have released amazing material like Atlas and IRE ... these boys are savage and are just growing and growing... can't wait to see you in April 17! #PWD
I was coming home from Grafton in NSW's (I Live in Brisbane) when I told my mate to make a detour through Byron Bay just so I could see the parkway drive house! Fucking love these guys, yet unfortunately have never had the chance to see them live!
I would of given almost anything to see parkway live when they first released horizons
agree setlists lately are lame
blakfisk yes ire isn't that good but has great song like fractures sound of violence and a deathless song
i was there
it was MAAAAAD. Saw them at a small youth centre when it came out.
TheMusiicAddiction *would’ve
The fact that Parkway Drive grew up in Byron, (where i live) is heart melting
After Hours beach bogans get of the weed mate
When Chode has to sing the show hahaha, just brilliant!
28:02 lol :D
MoonBoone why did he had to? i really didn't got that, my english sucks

Thais Ayumi alright, thank you!
I love this part, especially when Crafter is mocking him : "I'm sorry! I'm sorry for being bad." :D :D
I feel like I know theese guys personally after this documentary
the best metalcore band ever...now i cant sleep...
+Soumya Majumder PWD are one of my favourites, but Killswitch Engage imo is the best metalcore band.
But yeah... I respect your opinion man.
thanx dude for understanding other's perspectives....i love as i lay dying and threat signal too....killswitch engage too are my favourite
Soumya Majumder Nice man, Threat Signal originated from nearly an hour away from me. Such a great band... and As I Lay Dying is also great until Tim fucked up hard lol.

Yeah, I live near Hamilton. Anyway, Wovenwar is not bad with past As I Lay Dying members, but not the same.
At 15:30
Adam D. : "I chose to work with them because Australians talk funny, it's entertaining to listen to them speak". Looool !!!

Killing With a Smile is an incredible record
The most inspiring documentary of a band I have ever seen! Hats off to their dedication!
Man, to think back in January 2008 I went to see Killswitch Engage with Every Time I Die, and a little band I'd hadn't heard of called Parkway Drive. I have listened to them ever since.
That's a line up. KSE and PWD match up well.
@@jamesstagg880 Obviously, I was much younger at the time and a little too judgemental for my own good, I went in thinking a band called Parkway Drive would be so lame. BOY did they ever change my mind and I am so happy about it
🙂 They do know how to put on a good show, and personally I don't think they've ever made a bad sounding album
"They are Parkway Drive, I'm not" hahahahahahahaha

If these doesn't make you respect metal than I don't know what will
this
I like to watch these types of videos before really "judging or making a comment" about the band before I sound like an idiot
Nine you probably wrote this comment before watching it huh
They're just simply amazing dudes with dedication and hard work in their veins. This just really shows that if you work your ass off you can do whatever. I love these guys. They're just an inspiration.
I love that they got this big literally all by themselves. so impressive
100% the most honest, inspiring and amazing videos i've ever seen
The music get much better when the band itself is fucking awesome

I have watched this way too many times. unlike most other bands they come across as genuine dudes and I really think I know them better after this
BEST BAND EVER.
i just saw one of my friend's local hardcore band. The Parkway house looked exactly like the venue i saw them at. Small but insane at the same time.
They Lived THE LIfe more than any of us had or ever will :P
When they have to sleep outside and wanted to tour in Europe but they can't but still went with only a van and gps tracker...

This is a great comedy documentary and I laughed a lot, a band from small Australian town became arguably one of the biggest modern metal acts headlining festivals now and filling out huge arenas.
You should make a part 2 follow up documentary. there's more than enough new material!
this band ia fantastic !
ah! I was at that Springfield, Missouri show at 39 minute mark, tornado sirens going off & all we were worried abt is better not lose electric power cos we came for Parkway Drive!

What I gather from this is that I need an Australian friend. They're rowdy, disgusting, and like to have a good time. Sounds amazing.
Brought tears to my eyes. You guys are fucking awesome. the way you guys pulled it through is unbelievable .
BRING THIS SOUND BACK PLEASE

I was coming home from Grafton in NSW's (I Live in Brisbane) when I told my mate to make a detour through Byron Bay just so I could see the parkway drive house! Fucking love these guys, yet unfortunately have never had the chance to see them live!

Dam Luke! we both have the same t-shirt ''To Die For'' sick!!!
Home is for the Heartless, enough said.
If I was in any Band it would have to be Parkway drive, they are nothing less of Brothers and family.
I think it's cool Ben had stuff to do with the cinematic side of this
Awesome dvd. Can't fucking wait to see them tomorrow.
agree:)
G.O.A.T
My biggest regret is bailing on seeing Parkway live as they released Deep Blue because I was seeing some girl I can't even remember
winston shook my hand, ha yes he did kid yes he did
was that you?
They definitely had a badass childhood. Must be nice lol
Idk what they're talking about sounds to me like chode has a voice for hardcore sounded alright
32:55 that was rough plus I never heard of a Band who slept outside.
If you like this, you should look up "Emerald Eyes - The Ep"

Im going to see them in may, I can't fucking wait.
